Saving Up for an American Girl Doll Outfit...

Recently I got a new American Girl Catalogue with a lot of new items in it! Some of the items include Kit and Ruthie's movie items and some new "Just like you" outfits. They have 2 new "Just like you" American girl doll back to school outfits and they are SO cute! I Really love the new Jumper and Boots Set + Book! Here is a Picture of it in the Catalogue:

I Really like it A LOT! Since I don't have a lot of money right now I can't buy it, so I am going to save up for it! I get a 20 dollar allowance from my parents each month. It is originally without shipping and processing 26 dollars. I went to the American Girl online store to check how much it will be with tax and shipping and I got: 33.95 (Shipping and processing is 7.95)

So, I will have to save up for 2 months and then I will have enough money! :) It will be a challenge, but also an opportunity to learn to save money. :) I Can't wait to buy it and put it on my doll! :)

I just got my Velveteen coat set in the mail today. I'm very excited! It's such a cute winter/fall outfit and it looks great on Molly. It was totally worth saving up for!

I've often saved up for AG clothes, and such. Actually, I had to save SIX months to get my first doll, Kirsten, five years ago. And then, of course, I've saved for more outfits and things. Btw, I have that school jumper outfit. You'll be very pleased with your purchace. :D

You know, I spent my money on a lot of things in the past, and the hardest thing to save up for is an AG thing... their SOOOOOO expencive.

I have to save up for all my American Girl doll stuff too! As of right now I am saving up for the raincoat and a look alike doll. So far it is not really working out well. My mom says i need to keep trying!! Every time I go into AG I always end up spending all my money! It is just soooooo hard because everything is very adorable and little!
