Well, around 2003 or 2004 for Christmas I got these Wonderful American Girl items from Hallmark! Mattel hadn't taken over yet, so these were from Pleasant Company. :) I still have them and I wanted to show them here. Here are Pictures...
I used to (and still do!) love Samantha, so for Christmas one year I got this Hallmark Samantha Figurine.
I have an American Girls Collection Hallmark 3 Ring Binder
It has pages with tabs with facts about the American Girls: Kaya, Felicity, Josefina, Samantha, Kirsten, Addy, Kit, and Molly.
The Tag.
I also have a Recipe Tin.
With 8 recipes (One for each American Girl) and 5 cookie cutters.
Here are all of the recipes and cookie cutters.
Here is Kit's Checkerboard Sandwiches Recipe. (I Love how they are scalloped at the bottom!)
The Recipe.
Here is what is at the bottom of the recipe tin.
I also have a Cookie tin.
Here is what is at the bottom of the tin.
All of the items. :)
I hope you enjoyed looking at the Pictures! :)

Cool! I love your recipe tin. I have a cookie tin, binder, stationary set, set of 8 pins, and autograph book.

To see the pics, google curtdanhauser/american girl, and click the first thing that comes up. It will say "The Complete Guide to American Girl collecting." It's a site for collectors and he has a whole bunch of information and pics about American Girl. Then click special items, and click Hallmark. It will show you all of them, including the necklace I have. Some of them are really neat! I like the reading kit and the stamp set.

I do have vintage AG books from my older cousin, but I have this really cool board game that I got at BigLots. They had only a few of them so we grabbed it. It is a 2007 game called American Girl Treasures Game. I have only played it once but it was fun!!!!!!!

Do they still sell them?
Posted by: Not telling | November 18, 2012 at 01:24 PM
Not Telling-Thanks for your comment! They don't sell the American Girl items at Hallmark anymore, but I've seen them on Ebay. I really wish they still sold them in stores, they were so cool!
Have a great day!
