As I have written, American Girl is archiving one of our favorite historical dolls-Samantha. Now here is Your opportunity to Say your Farewell to Samantha! Click the icon on the upper left hand corner to write your own message to Samantha and read other messages too.
Even though we would love her to say, lets tell her how much we have loved her in the past and how much more we will love her in the future!
So be to write your Very own Message to Samantha! :)
~Liz (An American Girl Fan)

I was so sad when I heard Samantha and Nellie were being retired. I love Samantha so much I asked for her for Christmas and I got her. I was so thankful Koda

I'm really sad they are archiving her! But my mom ordered me one of Nellie's dresses and I got the Samantha paper dolls book before it was too late! I wonder what American Girl they are going to make next? Apparently they are going to make one named Rebecca who is Jewish! I think they should make one on our time period too!:)

Aw, I am sad she is gone.... OFF the pages on the shop :'( *sniff, sniff* Why did they retire her?! Pleasant Rowland made her before Mattel got AG.

Dear Samantha and Nellie,
It is awful that you are archiving. I am sad about it. I hope that you can come back someday!
Your Friend,
Quinlyn
P.S., Samantha! Your story collection was the first one I got! :D

I think American Girl should have a reunion soon. That would be where they come back for a year or so, so people can order her and accessories.

It's been a few years since they got rid of Samantha and Nellie, and I'm still wondering why AG did get rid of them! I have Nellie, and now I can't get any of her clothes. I really sad!
