Cool!
Molly Looks Great!
My dolls could use something like that!
Bye Jenna

That looks like fun!!! Do you know what is funny? I have the same robe that Molly is wearing. Koda

What does the baking soda and water do? Does it clean your doll? I would try it but I'm worried that it might ruin her. Could you give me some tips on how to do it?

Homeschoolers = cool people!

Hi everyone and thank you for all your wonderful comments! :)

Baking soda and water is very useful if you have stains (like crayon, pencil, ect.) on your doll. Put a little baking soda in a bowl, and then add a little water, don't put too much water. Mix it together, and use a cotton swab and put a little on the tip. Scrub it onto the stain, and it will start to come off! :) After, you have gotten the stain off, get a wash cloth and put some water on it and use it to wipe the baking soda mixture off of your dolls vinyl. Just be very careful using it on the face, you don't want to get it in your dolls eyes!

I used baking soda and water on Molly and it worked wonderfully on the marker stains that were on her! :)

Be sure that you have your parent's permission, and be careful!

Have fun! :)

~Liz~

OK! I think that I might try it now! Thanks SO much Liz!!!!

How did you make the cucumber slices

Cool! I wish I could do that! can you comment on my blog or my dolls blog....

I did that with my best friend too!:)

I made the Cucumber slices by drawing them and using green colored pencils. I cut them out and I relized that they wouldn't stay if I put them on my dolls eyes. So, I used a little sliver of tape (you could use double-sided tape), and I put them on my dolls eyelids. I don't know if you can take the paint off of the eyelids by doing this, so be careful.

Have fun! :)

~Liz~

That's really cool! I took before and after pictures with my best friend at our doll's spa party! I even found a way to give them lip gloss, just put some water on their lips!:)

Hey Liz!
How did you make the drink on the table?

I didn't make the cup on the table, I got it in an American Girl Party set that my Aunt gave me. (It was the old tropical party one with girl sized things and doll sized things)

I did make the table though. ;) It is a tissue box covered with a washcloth. You can make anything doll-sized with a little creativity! :)

Does anybody else have hints or ideas of what they use as doll-sized items?

~Liz~

Ps~ Water as lipgloss is a Wonderful idea! :)

Ohhh. I use mini gift bags for gift cards for my dolls on Christmas. You can also cut a piece of eraser and make an eraser for your doll. Mini cereal boxex can make a large box of cereal for your doll or you can cut it and make a mini magazine holder!

cool! i love that idea! have you ever sent your dolls to the hospital?

Yes one day I picked up my doll Felicity and her arm was falling out. I was so sad! So we sent her to the doll hospital. I have no clue why her arm was falling out but she is better now.:)

thanks Anne,
thats what happenend too my doll kit, except it was her leg. how long did it take for her to come back?

I think it took a few weeks. I was really happy to get her back!:)

the cucumbers cracked me up :D

Hi Liz,
My little brother and I have made some doll-sized things. This is how you can make a folder:
Fold a piece of paper in half. cut off about 2 to 3 inches of paper from the bottom. Take the strip of paper you just cut and put it on the inside of the folder. Glue in place. If you use Crayola glue sticks, you will need to get something else. To make sure it stays in place, ask your Mom or Dad to hot-glue it in place. DO NOT hot glue it yourself, unless your Mom or Dad says you can.

I have that robe that Molly is wearing! :) Bye!

That's cool! I did that with my friend and I got the "Girl Spa" For Christmas and we used that. It was fun! :D

I made some things for my doll! Like you can make books like this:
Get a peice of normal white paper
cut it in little squares- like 4 or 5
stapple them together and draw on a cover! It's really fun and even funny because my friend made some really weird ones and we were cracking ourselves up! Haha! :)

I just did a photo story of Julie going to a hair salon!

Hey Anne,
When you used water on your doll's lips as lipgloss, did it make water spots or anything?

Oh no. It kept drying before my friend could take the picture though.:) LOL

Hey Anne,
I put it on my dolls, and it worked alright, but I kept drying it with a cloth. :)

Hey Anne,
Last night I watched 17 kids and counting. :) And guess what! While watching it, I found out that Jon and Kate plus 8 is going to show a new episode Monday-THE ONE WHERE THEY ARE GETTING TWO PUPPIES! Did you know that? Do you have any pets, Anne?

That's so cute!

No I didn't know! That's cool! I love J and K pus eight! I don't have any pets, but one of my sisters has two cats! We might get one though!:) Do you have any?

No, I don't have any pets.

I love Jon and Kate Plus Eight!!!
Molly's hair is such a mess!!! Is it supposed to look like an afro??? It looks really bad!

Hi Hannah! :)

Molly was my very first doll, so she has been loved on a lot! Her hair is a little messy because when I first got her (when I was 9), I didn't have an American Girl doll hairbrush, I used a regular hairbrush.

I still love her though, and she is will always be special to me. :)

Thanks for commenting! :)

~Liz~

Well, I think that Molly's hair looks just fine. You have taken care of your dolls VERY well, Liz!

Sorry Liz!!! I didn't mean to say something about that her hair looks really bad!! My cousin put that under my name! I told my cousin that I was going to comment on how neat the braids were (the braids on my dolls never turn out that way!) I never got around to doing it so she put that! I feel so terrible!!! I love Molly's hair and am really sorry about that!!! I'll be more careful next time!

That is ok. Don't feel bad about it, I am not upset. :)

Thanks for commenting about it though, that was really nice of you. :)

Have a Great day! :)

~Liz~

Hey Liz,
I made a hairdryer for my dolls by taping a craft stick to a plastic cup! :)

That is cute- my friend would have loved that!

Liz,
That is so cute! Where did you get that AG hair-dryer? THAT is cute!

Hey Savanna-
At the end of one of your posts, you said 'Homeschoolers= Cool People'. Well, I'm homeschooled! You must be,too, right?

Love, Kayla And Lani

hi do you guys think it is a good idea to brush your MINI doll's hair with a normal hairbrush cause my mini emily's headband fell of so i had to turn her head upsidedown and it went all frizzy (and i had to triple knot the headband)

SO CUTE!

Liz,

Do you think that if I used baking soda and water the stains on my Bitty Twin would come off?

She's had a few purple-ish marks on her arm and knuckles and my mom tried getting it off with just baking soda and NOTHING happened :(
I don't want her to have purple marks on her forever! And I don't want to send her to the hospital.
I don't know what the stain is. I'm wondering if it's pen but I'm always super careful when I have stuff like pens, markers, etc., near them.
It makes me really sad when I see the marks :(
Please help!
~Jaclynn

Jaclynn: I have a few ink stains on my american girl dolls and what I use...is the magic erasers. I had this pen mark on my Kit dolls foot and it didn't completely go away but I can HARDLY see it now. I have used it on my other dolls and it worked like magic! I think the baking soda and water is for basic cleaning and not for ink stains. I highly recommend this your you ag dolls. Hope this helps!
~Carli

Carli:
Ok, I'm gonna have to try that! Thank you so much, Carli! You're always trying to help me out it feels like and I thank you very much for that :)
~Jaclynn

Jaclynn: I feel like you do that for me as well. Your very welcome!
~Carli

I just got Jess! She has some paint-crayon marks on her arms, what should i do?do i use this baking soda+water trick? Please help me; Jess is so gorgeous! I put her in the side tie tee, her meet skirt, the my ag sporty sandals and the raspberry glasses. :D she is sooo PRETTY and my bff has Nicki, so our dolls are BFFs:D and i luv the site, guys!
