Preview Picture of Rebecca!

I was recently made known that American Girl sent out an email with a preview of the new historical doll, Rebecca! (Thank you Meg!)  Here is what the email that American Girl sent out looks like (which was shown at the AGplaythings Message Board):

When you click discover more in the email, it doesn't go to the picture below, it goes to a list of American Girl Place store events about Rebecca. The picture was cropped by someone else. It does give a better look at her though. :) )

Isn't it exciting? I think Rebecca from this picture looks a lot like Mia. I can't wait to see the rest of her! :)

I can't totally decide what she looks like beacause you can't see her very well. I think she has mia's hair color, but elizabeth's hair length\texture

On Doll Diaries, the photograph shows her with lightish brown hair, so I think the lighting made her hair look like this. I LOVE HER SO MUCH THOUGH!

I can't wait to see the rest of her, Olivia! It is so exciting! :)

Also,Elizabeth, if you click on the smaller picture of Rebecca (the 2nd one on my post) it will show the picture a little bigger. I had to size it down because it wouldn't fit.

It does look like she has light brown hair with a reddish tint. She looks so much different than her illustration picture though. Hmmm...we will just have to wait and see! :)

Hey girls I just discovered something!

Compared to Mia, Rebecca's eyebrows are brown, and Mia's are red. I cropped a Mia picture like Rebecca and I noticed that. Would you all like it if I put the comparison pictures (along with Josefina because of the face mold) in a post? ;)

Wow! Thanks so much! I think the book pic looks like Marisol and the doll looks like Mia with brown hair but then we can't see her whole face. So we don't know. Her hat is creepy! (I think.)

I have done a little bit of research on this new character and have some "connections." Rebecca has brown/auburn hair and her eyes are brown. Lastly, she has the Josefina/Nellie/Chrissa/Julie face mold.Her eyes are NOT hazel.I,too, received this "preview" and her eyes are not featured hazel; you need to look closer.

Aw! She has to be the cutest AG doll so far!! I want her sooooooooooo baddddd! I already saved up $35.00 for her since my parents said i have to buy AG dolls with my own money :( (Grr!) :)

Ooh, you can tell she has the "Elizabeth/Nellie" face mold for a few reasons ( I am comparing my Chrissa and Mia right now just to be sure):
1. The eyes on the " Elizabeth" face mold are slightly more to the oval shape, and if you look very closely, you will see a little dented line right under the eye brows as on Chrissa/Julie/Elizabeth's face mold.
Okay! Technically, that was one long reason, lol =P.

I hope she hasn't got too-short hair. Many people are torn between her and Sonali. Well, I'd say get Sonali first. She won't be here for long, but Rebecca's not going anywhere. =) As for Sam and Nellie, I'm sure they'll be back soon. Remember when they archived Felicity and then brought her back her with new stuff? Who knows, they might just be improving an already-great doll. And has anybody heard rumors of a future doll called Lanie? =/

I didn't know that either about Felicity, I thought the same that Rylie did.??? I have heard rumors about Lanie, it just said it was a possible name in the future for an AG doll. I think it was actually a future name for a GOTY.:) That's what I heard I think.:)
I'm excited about Rebecca and who knows... maybe I'll get her in the future.:) Oh and my new doll's name is Lilly Claire Larson!! (in case any of you were wondering.):)
