You all may have known that I have a message board about American Girl on Proboards. Well, some issues were going on with age, that Proboards closed it down.
I am sorry to all the girls that really enjoyed it! I am trying to think about what to do about it, but during the Message Board absence, please go over to the American Girl Fan's Comment Board to chat here on my site.

You could switch over, bringing the data with you to another board, such as invision free or forumotion. And since I'm not in the US I don't think it's fair that I'm not allowed join because of the under 13s thing. You can be ant age in Ireland. If there is nothign you can do then I understand :)

I'm sorry it was closed down, but to be quite honest this needed to be done. Libby, how it happened exactly, that someone was lurking the board and saw the underage posters and decided to report it to proboards.

Oh no, this is so sad. :( I really liked the board! One of us could make a new one with a different site. One that actually ALLOWS us to be under 13. This seems so unfair! Well, I guess it did need to be done. Liz has gotten several warnings. We weren't careful enough, I guess. :(

Proboards closed it down this morning, with no warning to me. I can't get it back at all, so it is permanent. :(

Oh, I would have joined if I knew there were other underage members. I suggest forumotion and that way you can set the age.

What happened, was that Proboards found out that some girls on my Message Board had accounts, and they were under 13. We also just started talking about age. So, Proboards decided to delete the Message board. I am glad you had a good time there! My dad and I are looking into how to create a Message board, so we may possibly have another one sometime! :)

Aww, that's a bummer. Though it probably was for the best (no offense ment...it's just that Under 13 were the rules, so it's probably better now that you can abide by them)...I hope you are able to get a new hoster that can support under 13 members.
