I saw on the Barnes and Noble website that they had the Book Summaries of the Girl of the Year 2010 books-Lanie and Lanie's Real Adventure. They were full-paragraph summaries of the books too!
Ten-year-old Lanie loves science and nature, but she has a problem: she's an "outside" girl with an "inside" family. She longs get out and go camping, but they all want to stay home. It wouldn't be so bad if her best friend was around, but she's halfway around the world, living out their dream of studying wildlife. Lanie feels she never gets to have any adventures -- anywhere. But when her favorite aunt comes to stay, Lanie discovers that the wonders of nature are everywhere -- even in her own backyard.
Lanie is having a busy summer. The backyard wildflower garden she planted with her aunt is starting to bloom with all the flowers that butterflies like best. Lanie is delighted, but her next-door neighbor objects -- she says that Lanie is growing an ugly "weed garden" and she threatens to interfere. As she searches for ways to spread the word about the benefits of natural gardening, Lanie is horrified to discover the neighbor using poisonous sprays next door -- pesticides that could hurt the butterflies and birds nesting in the garden. Can Lanie find a way to get along with her neighbor-and find a creative solution to their garden problem?
I think the books sound really good! What do you think? :)

I think she sounds so great! I really like her blond, curly hair. There aren't many that look like that. I wonder what mold she'll have? The only problem is is that she looks a bit like Sharpay Evans from High School Musical, and I can't stand those movies. Other than that, I think the books sound really cool. When will AG start that puzzle thing where they reveal her?

oh yeah the puzzle may start when Chrissa's puzzle came out.......but i can't remember the date. :( I wish AG would show her soon!

I think they say (now I am not sure) but I think they say something like "If you want to see the 2010 GOTY go here!" something like that, I think they did whatever they did with Chrissa (Did you notice Chrissa is sold out?!)
