A few days ago my dolls woke up to a sheet of snow on the ground outside! It was so beautiful that Kit and Mia went out to play together. The rest of the girls wanted to stay in and be warm, but Kit and Mia wanted to have some fun! :)
When they got out in the fluffy snow, Kit suggested on having a snowball fight!
"Well, are you ready?" Mia said as she held her snowball.
"Yep, ready!!" Kit replied.
Kit threw too late, because a snowball was heading straight towards her!
"Ahh!" Kit said, but then she laughed about it. "Great shot Mia," Kit called as she threw another snowball.
After a while, they both decided to go get their sled out of the shed.
Once they got it, Mia started to carry it up the hill. As she dragged the sled through the snow, she wondered to herself how fast the sled would go. All of a sudden the sled wouldn't budge! Mia tried hard to pull it, but then she heard a giggle. She turned her head slowy, to find...
...Kit sitting on the sled! Mia laughed, she couldn't believe she hadn't guessed sooner!
They finally got to the top of the hill (at least after Kit got off the sled ;), and they got on together. Once they were ready...Down they went!
Sledding was so much fun they did it about more than 20 times that day!
After Kit and Mia got tired of all the sledding, they posed for some pictures!
"Say Snowflake!" Kit called before the camera flashed. ;)
After all the fun they had, the girls started getting cold, and headed inside the warm house.
Kit and Mia got into their warm pajamas, and then drank some hot chocolate while they enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace-- the perfect ending to their fun day in the snow! :)
Ps~ I took these pictures of my dolls in the snow with EXTREME CAUTION. Don't ever take your American Girl Dolls out in the snow, unless you have parent's permission and supervision.

ADORABLE! So cute! But Mia looked like she had blond hair...oh well! That is just waaaaaay too cute! I wish I lived near snow! And the ocean could freeze and we could ice-scate on it! But that would never ever happen. It'll never even get icey here1 (Is that a word?) LOL Cute story. :)

Oh and Liz I sort of want to order the Jumper and Boots Set For Dolls + Book, but it's sold out. It's probably a phase, and they just didn't get a shipment or something like that, but I'll be really sad if it reallY IS sold out! :( LOL

Hey,
When the weather gets nicer you should have your dolls have a scavendure hut. Kind of like the easter egg hunt but with out easter eggs. Also you could get a wagon and have them go for a ride around the neighborhood. I have done that before.

Liz,
Where did you get the fireplace? Did you actually take your dolls into the snow? Well, as long as their cloth body doesn't get wet and you have parents' OK, then it should be fine!! That's so neat. I did a cool photostory I still need to upload though, check back soon!
hannah A.,
I hope you get the jumper and boots set!!! Good Luck!

Thanks Grace!
I think it is still sold out. But if the Sold Out sign comes off, I will get my AG gift card ready and purchase it!
I love the little hair clips and boots! Plus the little green tee! Everything, really! LOL

Hi Everyone!
Hehe, yep Lily guessed it! I made the fireplace myself out of an American Girl box, the box that the Feel Better Kit came in. :) My dad helped me with it, and we made it like the TV, but it's a lot bigger. :)
Charlotte, the headband was made by my friend Quinlyn! She had it as a prize for one of her giveaways at her blog(quinlynsblog.blogspot.com). My sister Hope won the giveaway, and she let me use it for this post! I think Kit looks really cute in it! :)
Grace, I did really take my dolls out in the snow! I did it really carefully though! :)
I hope you all have a great weekend! :D

hannah A.,
It's not Liz here-but I think I know where it came from. I think (you know better than I do though Liz) it came with an outfit that had like, a white turtleneck, a blue plaid skirt and a pink shawl. Just comes to my mind.

Is it that one called the Sightseeing outfit? I was looking at retired items and just thought of it! Yeah Liz I did see your Addy wearing it, it is ADORABLE! I'm not sure if it is the sightseeing outfit though, but it looks like the cap came with it. Liz, you are so lucky to have so many retired items from AG!

Hi Liz,
I love your website and even though I don't have my own website I decided to do some photo stories just for fun. And I know how to add captions and I can save them for when I do geta website. Well I have already done two but they haven't come out that great. Any tips for a first time photostory.
