"Hi Everybody, it's me (Mini) Kaya! I hope you remember me, I know it's been too long! I never get enough time to sneak to the computer, Kit's always been busy playing with me! Oh, if you don't know me yet, let me introduce myself! My name is Kaya, but some people call me Mini Kaya. I am Kit's doll, and I love to have adventures with my horse. Kit and her friends don't know that. To them I am just a doll. Hehe. When I last wrote here, I told you part one of my HUGE adventure...(let's go back in time for just a minute)...
It all started when I was in the playroom. I am not allowed to be there, but I just had to explore!
During my exploring I felt like I was being watched, and also I ran into some difficulties...
Which was a Giant mountain lion! My horse and I hid in the shadows though, so we were fine. :)
My adventure really got HUGE when along the dusty rode, I ran into a...wagon! Was it deserted? Did someone live there? I didn't have time to find out because I heard footsteps, it was Kit's friend Molly coming my way!
Of course...she found me. She carried me away from my horse, the wagon, and my adventure! But now, it is time for the tale of the second part my adventure!"

The next day was Monday and Kit and her friends were off at school. Finally I could have the house to myself, no more sneaking for me today! Just me, my horse, and adventures! As my horse and I were riding to the playroom, I stopped my horse suddenly. I remembered what happened yesterday! Could it be true? Yes, I was sure it wasn't a dream! I made my horse go faster than ever before, I had to get to the wagon!
When I finally got there, my horse was out of breath and so was I! I looked around for a pool of water, but then I heard something. I stopped in my tracks and listened hard. I heard it again, it sounded like clinking, like someone was moving jars.
'Who goes there?' I shouted. I didn't feel as brave as I sounded. The clinking stopped, I gasped!
There standing before me was another girl, a pioneer! Her hair was blond and in braids, and she wore a blue dress with a red and white striped apron. Her face looked kind. Then she spoke to me.
'Hello, my name is Kirsten,' the girl said nervously,'I am so glad to see you! I saw you yesterday, and I was hoping you would come to see me!'
I was so surprised! I thought I felt like someone was watching me yesterday!
'Hi, I'm Kaya. Sorry, for scaring you if I did. Do you need some help? Where's your horse?' I forgot that not everyone had a horse as great as mine.
'Hello Kaya! Well, I do need help. I am terribly lost, and I have no oxen or horse.'
'I can help you,' I replied,'my horse can carry us both!'
Kirsten supervised as I hooked up my horse to the wagon. Once my horse was ready I hopped on!
'Hop on Kirsten!' I said holding out my hand. She took it, and I gently helped her on. While helping her on I wondered if she loved adventures as much as I did.
Once we were both on, I made my horse move forward, and we were on our way!
We went down some hallways and came into what is called "the living room". It felt like we were in a foreign land!
Kirsten and I were having a lot of fun, just talking and strolling through winding hallways. Then I heard something behind us. I gasped and everything went really fast from there! Behind us was...a Giant black panther, and it was chasing us!
I couldn't help thinking that there are a lot of animals around, a mountain lion and now a black panther! I tried to remain calm, and whispered to Kirsten that we were going to go really fast. I didn't tell her about the panther, I didn't want her to be scared. I moved my horse forward and we ran! I didn't know where we were going, but we had to find a place to hide!
We ran into a room, and I looked behind me. We lost it! I was so relieved, but then when I saw where we were I got the scared feeling again.
'Uh-oh.' I said accidentally.
'What's wrong, Kaya?' Kirsten asked. Her eyes looked at me worried.
I gulped. 'We are in the girls bedroom, Kit's and her friends.' When I think of it now, I said that quite plainly.
Kirsten couldn't answer, because all of a sudden I heard footsteps, the girls were home from school!
'Hurry, get down!' I told Kirsten, and she seemed to understand. I patted my horse so she would lay down too. We did it in the knick of time, because Elizabeth and Mia walked straight through the door.
'I can't believe how much homework we have.' Mia said to Elizabeth.
'I know! It's ridiculous I wonder...' Elizabeth's voice trailed off and she pointed at where Kirsten and I were laying.
'Huh? What is Kit's doll doing here?' Mia questioned. She then picked up me and Kirsten slowly.
'How did this American Girl Kirsten doll get here?' As Mia looked at us, she looked really confused.
'Could Kit have gotten a new doll without telling us? Let's go have a snack and then ask her.' Elizabeth suggested.
They both picked each of us up and they carried us to the kitchen. Kirsten gave me a smile as we were being carried. Boy, did I think she was brave! I gave her a smile back.
Kit never knew how Kirsten got here, but she kept her, and now we are great friends! It is always much more fun to have an adventure with a friend! Kirsten says Hello by the way! :)
