It was a normal weekday, and Mia and Abbey were in the living room watching the television when Addy walked by.
"Hi Mia and Abbey! What are you watching?" Addy asked curiously. She pulled up a chair as Mia answered.
"We're watching the Winter Olympics," Mia replied excitedly, "It only comes every 4 years! This year it's in Vancouver, Canada!"
"We are watching the Figure Skating couples, right now!" Abbey said, joining the conversation.
"Ooh!"Addy said as she looked at the TV.
After a short silence of watching this couple perform, Mia started talking.
"Oh, I just can't wait until I can be a professional Figure Skater at the Winter Olympics! The ice, the dresses, the crowd screaming my name..." Suddenly Mia was lost in her daydream.
*********************
...The crowd claps in excitement...
...and some are even holding signs...
...Mia St. Clair gently glides upon the fresh ice, all eyes on her...
...She does a Triple Axel Jump, and sticks the landing...
...After her Ice Skating routine is over, she takes a bow!...
...All of her fans throw beautiful flowers to her...
...the remaining skaters do their routines and then the results are in! First place goes to Mia St. Clair!!! The crowd cheers...
...Mia gets on upon the Olympic Podium to claim the Gold as the United States National Anthem plays! Canada gets the silver and Russia gets the Bronze...
...The crowd cheers her name! Mia! Mia! Mia! Suddenly the daydream starts to fade away...
"Mia? Mia? Mia?" Abbey said while gently shaking Mia's shoulder.
"Are you okay?" Addy asked sweetly.
Mia blinked and looked into the kind faces of her friends.
"Oops, sorry," Mia said and giggled,"I was just...having a daydream."

That was soo awesome, Liz! :D I love it! How did you make all that stuff, especially the ice rink? :D And I love how Russia got the Bronze...because Russia's ALWAYS have to get a medal in skating. They do, they are great at it! Did you watch the ice dancing last night? Canada won and America got Silver! :D The Canadians were amazing, though!

Thank you everyone for the comments!
For the ones that asked about how I made the props, be sure to look out for a behind-the-scenes picture for American Girl Show and Tell Wednesday tomorrow! ;)
Grace-To get the thought bubble on the picture we used a photo-editing program we have. Also, that was Julie on the Podium. She is my sister Hope's doll. For this photostory we used every doll we both own! lol You can see them all in the 7th picture! :)
Leanna-I am not sure if I will get Lanie or not. I Love all of her outfits though, and I want to get one of them! :)
Meagan-Thanks! I have seen some people throw flowers, but they have people pick them up right away. I can see why they wouldn't want flowers on the ice! lol :)
Nicki-I have been thinking about what American Girl doll I want next, but I can't decide yet! I hope to be able to get a new American Girl outfit sometime soon! :)
Have a great day!

Liz, you never fail to amaze me. You have so much imagination and talent, Hope too. You both are great. I absolutely loved this photostory, my so many details. WOW I'm still shocked at how realistic it looks. Every single thing about it was so real. And those flowers on the floor topped it off, that was a excellent touch. Please keep up the good work, I look forward to your photostories they're always so pleasing. GREAT JOB to you, Hope, & your parents.
