Wow! I have heard of them before! Cool! I would like to read them, too! :D Nice find!

I love them so much!! :D You look perfect reading the Isabel book! ;) I have read all of them accept for Saba and Leyla. And I have the dolls Isabel, Neela, and Spring Pearl! ;)

Great find and I hope you can get the rest!

~Quinlyn

At my summer school they have an AG class and my teacher brought those in. It was her daughter's. She had Cecile.

I loved this book when I read it it is a very good book!

Also read Cecile her book was one of my favorites!

Actually, an AG author (I think the one who wrote the Kailey GOTY books) wrote Cecile: Gates of Gold! Just came to my mind.

You look just like me when I have a new book in my hands!LOL!:D

I've read Cecile, Gates of Gold!!! I loved it! I own it too! I found it at my church yard sale in the book section! My library has all of them! I've gotten lots of them from the library before, but didn't have time to read some of them. I didn't quite finish the Isabel one yet from the library. So I plan to check it out again, along with the others! I don't have any of the dolls though. But I remember when AG sold them. The dolls are very pretty! That's really neat that you found the Isabel one! Maybe you'll find more! :)

I have Cecile and Isabel... they are both so wonderful and I love them very much. It is too bad that they are discontinued. I want to get Kathleen because I am Irish and I used to do Irish Dance, but she is the most expensive of all of them. : (

I dont have any of the dolls but i have Isabel,Leyla, Spring Peal, and Cecile's books. i too got them at Half price books! i got to half price books about 3 times a week in the summer to look for good finds on american girl books and stuff. i got over 100 american girl books this summer to add to my collection of american girl books. i also love the History Mystery books American Girl used to sell.

Wow! What a cool find! Do you want the dolls even Liz? Cuz if you do you can look in thrift shops, antique shops, etc.

katherine,i love the History Mistorys too!The only place I can find them is my library.

Sounds interesting!

I get my History Mystery books at Half Price Books. i have 8 of them.

Hi Liz:)

I got back from San Fran. CA last night, but ws able to check your site on a curtisy computer at the ACS meeting my parents had to go to...

Ok!!- so I have Spring Pearl, Neela, Minuk and Saba. I haven't read their books but plan to. My mom got Neela and Minuk (except SABA!- I found her on eBay), when American Girl was discontinueing them. They were like 25% (pay 25%! good deal!)) My mom got Spring Pearl when they first came out because she is Chinese.

!!Lily

Also!!- the prices are pretty good on eBay except Kathleen (price's out rageous!) and Ceciele is also expensive;)

Hey Liz! I have the book about Cecile that AG made for the Girls of Many Lands. I haven't read it but I will. Also, good find on that Isabella book. : )

I own all eight. Hee. I got them before they retired...

ALL the books are quite good. And the dolls are so pretty! :)

When the books first came out I loved them and purchased them all. They are very good books because not only are they interesting, but they all give a very great insight into each culture and girl's lifestyles. Cecile is my favorite, but I also really enjoy Minuk. Glad you enjoy them as well.

I have Isabel, Leyla, Spring Pearl, Neela!
But I want all the rest espily Becous I will be 12 soon! :)

HEY!!! I borrowed the books,Cecile,Isabel,Minuke,Spring Pearl, and Neela. I sort of looked through Cecile and it was REALY good!!! thanks 4 posting!!!

Peace,
Carly
