I love to buy new American Girl Outfits, but I can't get them all the time. So, I try my best to give my dolls new looks-without spending much money. Here are my tips! :)
1) Get Decorating! If you own a plain doll shirt, you can decorate them! My favorite way to decorate is using stickers! By using stickers, I can change the design on my doll's shirt all the time! :)
2) Doll Jewelry! Jewelry can really change a doll's outift! People-sized anklets and bracelets make great doll necklaces! I also love to make my own doll jewelry!
3) Mix-n-Match! With just a few pieces of clothing, I can make several different looks on my dolls! You can create lots of different outfits using what you own! To show how I mix-n-match, I tried my best to create 6 different outfits using only 7 pieces of clothing and a pair of shoes. Here are my results...
There are endless possibilities when it comes to Mix-n-matching! :D
I hope these ideas help you create some new looks for your doll! Do you have any other ideas on how we can give our American Girl dolls a new look? What kinds of things do you do to freshen up your doll's wardrobe? :)

Hi if any of you guys go on sarah's doll hospital site, click members and type Sarah in the search bar. After that click the one that says chalfont Pennsylvania. SHE'S A TOTAL POSER!!!!!!!!!! If you ever chatted with her never and I repeat NEVER send your ag dolls to her!!!!!!!!!!! She's just gonna keep them.

WOW! You are very creative! You see, I don't have that many doll clothes, but because I got some new clothing last Christmas, I sometimes do layer and I love to add belts and headbands. I love what Molly and Kit are wearing! :)

Cute tips! I love the sticker-on-shirt idea! I also love to mix and match and make doll jewelry. Each of my Magic Attics get a necklace to go with their starter outfits-which also happen to feature their favorite colors. Mia looks cute with the tank top over the pink shirt (I really want to get the tank top sometime).

I used your sticker idea today and I'd love for you to check my shirts out! I posted pictures of them on my blog. http://agdollprincess.blogspot.com/ It was fun deciding on stickers to use! Thanks for the great idea!
