Yesterday we went to yardsales hoping we might find something nice! I always love to browse around wondering what surprises I will find! Well, I found a very nice surprise yesterday...
...a doll-sized horse! At first, I didn't know if it would fit my dolls-but I took the risk and only payed $1 dollar for it! An awesome deal! It came with the saddle and reins and a blanket (not pictured) too! Plus, I found out it was the perfect size! :D
Mia was the first one of my American Girl dolls to see the horse. She petted it and gave it some love before my sister Hope and I gave the horse a bath-it really needed it! :)
The soapy horse! hehe We washed it's hair and gave it's body a scrub. Also, we washed it's saddle and reins. :)
Here's the nice and clean horse, with the blanket I mentioned before! :)
It's hair was a bit too long, so we decided to trim it a bit. :)
Then, Hope and I put the horse's wet hair in braids to give it some wave. We left them in overnight and this is what the horse's hair looked like today when we took the braids out...
...beautiful and wavy! Since the horse was all cleaned up, my doll Mia went outside for a ride!
Once Mia learned how to get on, she was riding away like the wind!
I am so happy that my American Girl dolls now have their very own horse! Though, there's one thing that's missing! Our horse needs a name! Do you have any ideas for a good name? I would love to hear them! :)
Edit: I was just looking at our new horse to see if it had a mark of what company made it. It says "Battat: Saddlebred horse". That sounded really familiar so I looked it up and my horse is a older Our Generation Horse that they sell at Target for 34.79! Isn't that awesome!? Click Here to see some of the Our Generation horses, mine looks really similar! :)
Even more Edit: It was brought to my attention from my friend Jordan that the same horse I got at the yardsale isn't an old version after all! They still sell it at stores like Target! The horse is called the Lipizzaner Horse and it looks like this:
It looks the same!! I saved a lot of money getting it from the yardsale! hehe :)

i just did a little research, it looks like your horse IS the lipazzaner. i looked on the target website and they only have certain ones in stock online and in stores! But they come with a whole set, so in a way, its a better deal than spending a fortune on ag horses. also when i went to the kentucky horse park, i got a dog thats ag doll sized! the company is yomiko classics.
