I just have to share this with all of you!! It's an amazing idea by a lady named Marsha Clements. Ms. Clements makes Doll Cases for American Girl dolls out of an ordinary item...Suitcases! They are absolutely beautiful! Ms. Clements is an artist, and hand-paints each Doll Case. She makes all kinds of Doll Cases, but I really like her Historical ones. Here are a few pictures of her Historical Doll Cases...
This one is for Josefina, and it's the front of the Suitcase. Isn't it beautiful?! :D
When you open the suitcase, it becomes a room for an American Girl doll! I love the little mirror on the other side of the suitcase. The suitcase can act as a carrying case, a closet to store clothes, and a bedroom!
The front of the suitcase can be a place for an American Girl Doll to play outdoors too! :)
Here's another one of her Doll Cases, a Victorian one for Samantha!
I love the inside of this one! The painted base and pitcher are so pretty! It's the perfect bedroom for Samantha! :)

Hey!My mom made me a little storage thing out of a suitcase for my doll,Nicki!But it is not as cool as those ones!Mine is lavender with pictures of Nicki on it!It's pretty cool,but I don't use it much anymore.:-)

Those cases are so neat! And very pretty and detailed. If you do decide to get one it would make a very pretty background for all of the stories that you do. I am picturing it now, hehe. :-)
