I can't believe this is happening! American Girl is Archiving (retiring) Felicity and Elizabeth!!! Today American Girl put "Farewell Felicity" on Felicity & Elizabeth's Page of the American Girl website. This is extremely sad! Felicity and Elizabeth's time period is what made America what it is today. It is a huge part of American History. :(
Also, what's sad is that I was planning on getting Felicity as my next doll for Christmas this year! I was saving for a new camera, but because of Felicity Archiving, I am going to get into some of my savings and buy Felicity really soon. I know their collection will sell out fast! My Elizabeth is excited about her best friend coming! :) What do you think of Felcity and Elizabeth being Archived?

Hi Cassidy!
Yes, all of Felicity and Elizabeth's Collection will be going into archive. Once they go into the archives we won't be able to buy any of their stuff anymore.
You can see all of their collection here: http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/static/felicitydoll.jsp
Have a great day!

It's really saddening that they are getting rid of Felicity. She was a huge part of my childhood. I loved that doll to death! I had all of her peices and the movie to go along with her. That doll went everywhere with me even though I had 5 American girl dolls. I even went to Williamsburg a couple of times because she was from there. That place still interests me. I'm just torn inside that the younger girls below me aren't going to experience the same things as I did. This time period was very important to American history and if they get rid of her those girls will never know the difference of a patriot and a loyalist!

i'm pretty sad that they are retiring felicity and elizabeth. I think they should never retire dolls because it's probly some little girls dream to get one and then all at once sg store's break the little girls heart it's just plain mean and plain sad. But thier is an upside to this i heard that thiers going to be a new doll coming but it's still sad for felicity and elizabeth.

LISSIE! I love her. She was my first doll. I will miss her dearly as I barely have any of her collection but she will always be special in my heart. And, (giggle) she looks special because her hair is about an inch shorter than other felicities and she has no teeth (yes, she's very well loved). Oh, Lissie! I will get her the Elizabeth mini doll. As the year draws to an end I feel I must say one last good-bye.
Good Bye, Lissie and Lizzie! Your stories WILL live on! And no one will EVER be able to take MY LISSIE DOLL away from me.
Hooray for 1774!
