Happy Easter Everyone! My dolls and I are so excited about Easter! It's such a beautiful day of celebrating Jesus Christ and being with friends and family! For Easter, Me and Hope's American Girl dolls had their very own Easter Egg Race...
"Happy Easter, I'm your host Julie Albright, and Welcome to the First Annual Easter Egg Race!
The Egg-hunting teams of Nellie & Abbey and Josefina & Felicity are all lined up and ready to go! The team who collects the most eggs will win...
This fabulous prize!!! I can't wait see what it is!"
Julie then turned back to the teams. "1-2-3, GO!" she yelled with excitement.
The crowd cheered! GO Abbey, GO Nellie, GO Felicity, GO Josefina!!!
The girls all ran while giggling. They could see some of the easter eggs already!
"Here's one Felicity, and it's Pink!" Josefina called next to the big tree.
"Yay! One egg for us!" Felicity said smiling.
"Look Nellie, there's one in that bush!" Abbey said pointing.
"I wonder how many eggs we have now?" Nellie asked, while putting the new egg in their basket.
They all continued searching for eggs until...
"TIME'S UP!" Julie yelled from her spot.
Both teams sat down and counted how many colorful eggs they got.
Who would be the winner?
"How many eggs did you get?" Julie asked the teams.
"We got six!" Felicity and Josefina said together.
"Really?!" Abbey asked in surprise.
"We got six too!" Nellie said, which explained Abbey's surprise. It was a tie!
"I guess that means you all get to share the prize!" Julie exclaimed, and then went over to the table where the prize was. She slowly took off the sheet hiding what the prize was...
"You all win...this Chocolate Bunny!"
"It looks so yummy!" the crowd said to each other. "Yay for the Easter Egg Race winners!"
They all had a wonderful Easter, and couldn't wait to share the Chocolate Bunny with each other! :)

I loved the photostory... They all looked like they really enjoyed theirselves. My AG girls along with my family (Mom, Dad, Kellielynne & myself) sat up outside by our Dogwood tree & each read some passages from the Bible about passover & the resurrection, colored & decorated eggs getting them ready for tomorrow's big celebration. Love your story!! Tomarrow, I'm waiting for my doll (Isabella) to wake up to her very own Easter basket. It will be SO cool! Liz, I have the same doll basket as you! Also, where did you get the mini eggs? I LOVE them!Happy Easter, everyone!

I got the VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER soundtrack, $12.00 (going towards Addy), 2 Cadburry eggs, a pack of Easter gum, a box of cotton candy, a pack of Peeps, a Ring Pop, and a chocolate bunny. Here's what Kit and Emily did: they made eggs with me, this morning they found Easter baskets for themselves, the buckets each had a stuffed bunny, a tiny easter board game, a Bible, a chocolate chick-a-dee, a walking chic (Emily got a walking bunny), and a surprise egg. I feel like I'm fogetting something. Then I had them an Easter egg hunt. It was fun! And i got them in just before it rained! But it dried up for our church egg hunt! Have a good Easter!

Today my family went to church (as every Sunday, but today's service at my church was so special!), then we went out to lunch. We colored eggs Friday with my friend.
My dolls sadly didn't get Easter baskets- I don't know where to buy them! Where did you get yours? I might have a celebration with my dolls later.

Carly-Thanks! Today we went to church which was awesome! I absolutely love getting dressed up! Then we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house and all of my mom's side of the family was there. They had an Egg hunt and I took tons of pictures! We just got home 20 minutes ago! hehe :)
Hanna-That is so cool you have the same Easter baskets! I got the Easter eggs at Kroger a few years ago. They were only around $2.00 for a bunch of them. :)
AJ-I think I got the Easter baskets at either Walmart or Kroger...I'm trying to remember which! lol They came in a pack of 6, for only a couple dollars. If you look in the Easter section at those stores-you can usually find doll-sized things! :)

I love this post Liz! It looks like your's and Hope's dolls had a lot of fun! Lissie, Nellie, Addy opened their Easter baskets on April 21st, Felicity's birthday. (She got mini Emily) :) But Kanani had to wait to open hers until Easter morning, because she came out of town with us!
Liz- I was just wondering, how did you get your blog so popular? It's amazing! I mean, how did you get people you don't even know visiting? I really admire you!
