This week my awesome friend Lacey sent me and Hope such a nice surprise in the mail! It is just too cool that I have to share about it with all of you...
Lacey sent Kit's Care and Share Basket that she found in the giftshop at the Cincinnati Union Terminal (which now is a Children's Museum), that she went to this Summer. It is so cute!!
When I opened up the items, I was super excited to see it was a doll craft on how to make paper flowers!
Inside the pamphlet, is some information about how Kit used crepe paper (paper like party streamers) to make the simplest things look special!
The instructions on how to make the paper flowers looked fun! (You can click on the picture to make it bigger to read on how make the paper flowers too!)
When I flipped the pamphlet over and saw that the set was made in 2000 and for Kit's Care and Share Party Event, I decided to do some research. I found out that Kit's Care and Share Party was to promote Kit's release when she first came out in 2000! They had the event in Cincinnati at the Union Terminal and other states too! This article about the party event is really neat: http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2000/08/22/loc_american_girls_books.html
Kit really loves her basket and beautiful paper flowers! Thank you so much Lacey!!
I hope you all enjoyed the pictures! :)

So pretty!
