Mia is pretending to be a Princess today! I thought it would be fun to share her beautiful photoshoot with you...
Introducing Her Royal Highness Princess Mia St. Clair!
Isn't she pretty? :)
"To be a Princess you must stand up very straight, have grace, and poise..." Mia says.
"...But you can have fun too!"
Princess Mia and I hope you enjoyed the pictures!!
What (or who) does your doll like to pretend to be? :)

Hi!
Mia looks so pretty. What hairstyle did you do? It looks gorgeous!

Hi Girls!
Bella-Thanks! The hairstyle I did on Mia was a small bun on the top of her head. The front part of her hair is the braid she came in that I've never taken out. I'm glad you like it!!
Mary-Thank you so much!! :D
Hope you have a great day!

Liz- I admit I have two dolls, but I may not know exactly what I am doing, here is a question for you...
'How do you get your dolls to stand so perfectly in the grass?! My doll almost ALWAYS falls down... What am I doing wrong!?! Is the solution to waste my money and buy a doll stand or is it REALLY worth it?'
Thanks! ~Dara

Mia is pretty. Love the hair style.
My doll turns to different people every day. Today she was a fashion model. I was testing a doll skirt and a doll shirt I made on her, so I decided to have a fashion show, putting fancy clothes on her, fussing with her hair. My doll is named Ivy Ling.

Hi Girls! Thank you so much for your comments-I'm happy you liked the pictures!!
Claire-Thank you for the great idea! I'll have to do some hair and clothes how-tos sometime. :)
Diana-That's so cool your dolls like to dress up too! Molly likes to dress up as a colonial girl in Felicity & Elizabeth's clothes, as a princess like Mia, and in cute modern clothes. :)
Dara-Thanks for your question! My dolls have a hard time standing in the grass too, so I've learned to have a lot of patience. Mia was barefoot in these pictures, which helped her balance. I also have to tilt my dolls a little bit forwards or backwards to get them to balance better. After my doll is balanced I take a picture very quickly, and usually after taking a picture she falls down. Doll stands work really well, I always use them when I take my dolls out in the snow. If you want to buy an inexpensive doll stand check out Michael's Craft Store! They sell doll stands for 18 in. dolls for about $3. I hope this helps you!! I'll try to give some more tips in a future post! :)
Mackenzie-Thank you for your nice comment! The flower headband is from the American Girl Flower Girl Outfit from 2008. :)
For the ones that asked how I did Mia's hair, I first gathered her hair like I was going to make a high ponytail. Then I twisted her hair into a small bun, and secured it with bobbypins and hairpins. The front part of her hair is the braid she came in that I've never taken out.
Halle and Priya-Mia's dress is the American Girl Gala Outfit from 2005. It is one of my favorite outfits American Girl has made! :)
Melanie-Mia does look like Belle, I didn't notice that! Thanks for your sweet comment! :)
I hope you all have a great day!!
