As the other girls were busy making cookies in the kitchen, Kit, Mia, Addy, and Felicity thought it would be a fun time to put up the Christmas tree!
Kit and Felicity got the artificial tree out of it's box, and they both straightened out the branches to make the tree look better. They couldn't wait to begin!
"We found the decorations!" Addy and Mia called as they came in from digging through the attic. Felicity and Kit laughed at the tinsel hanging all around them. "Help me please," Mia said trying to get untangled, "I don't want to be a Christmas tree!"
After helping Mia, Kit placed their new tree skirt beneath the Christmas tree giving it a festive look. Then, Addy and Felicity strung the shiny red tinsel around the branches.
Now, it was time for....the Decorations! This was Mia's favorite part, looking through all the ornaments and remembering the memories about getting each one.
Candy canes, bells, shiny red balls, and gingerbread men, were only a few of the beautiful ornaments to choose from.
They looked through the ornaments wondering which ones to put on first.
As they were all busy decorating, Addy set up the cute little manger scene under the tree-the reason for the season!
Once they had decorated the whole tree, it was time to put on the angel! It was Felicity's turn to put it on, since she was the newest girl there, their tradition.
Mia steadied the chair, as Felicity climbed up and gently put the angel on the very top of the tree. After Felicity jumped down, they were ready to light the tree!
The girls gasped as the white lights twinkled, casting shadows on the walls. It was too beautiful for words, but one thing they all whispered was, "It truly feels like Christmas."

So cute! (Miniature things always are.) :] My family and I put up and decorated our tree a couple days ago. I love thinking of the memories each ornament has (like Mia)! My dolls don't have their own little tree, but I'm hoping to decorate my room sometime so it looks nice for Christmas too. :]

The girls did a nice job on the tree! It looks pretty and the tree skirt is cute (I should make some for my dolls' trees).
Three of my dolls' trees are up and there are two more to go-the Larson's and the Merriman's.

Hi Girls! Thanks so much for your comments-I love hearing from you all! :)
Lissie-I got the mini Nativity at the Hobby Lobby Craft Store. They sell tons of things for small trees! :)
Hannah-Thanks! The blue Santa hat came with the 2006 American Girl Let it Snow Sleep Set. Mia is wearing the shirt that came with the Pjs.
Kali-Kit's jeans came with the 2006 American Girl Sparkly Tunic and Jeans set. I found the set at an Antique Shop brand new! I really wish AG sold more jeans for dolls, because these are very cute.
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas! :)
