As Kit, Mia, Felicity, and Addy were busy putting up the Christmas tree, Abbey, Elizabeth, and Molly were also hard at work. They were having fun baking Christmas cookies together in the kitchen!
We're going to show you how you can make cookies for your doll too! It's simple and easy, and so much fun!
First, you will need some supplies:
- A 12 inch by 18 inch sheet of Brown/Light Brown Craft Foam
- White Puffy Paint
- Scissors
- A Pen or pencil
- Any color Glitter
- Paintbrush (optional, I didn't use one, but you can if you need to)
- A Parent or guardian to help you!
*Before you begin, make sure to put down newspaper, this craft can get messy! :)*
Once you have all your supplies, take your piece of foam and draw a 1 and half inch circle. Then use your scissors to cut it out, this will be your pattern.
With your pen or pencil, trace your pattern circle onto the foam to make a lot of circles. Once you think you have enough, cut them out.
Now, here comes the FUN part! After all your circles (or cookies) are cut out, grab your puffy paint!
Squirt a small amount of paint onto your foam, and use the tip of the puffy paint to spread the "icing" around. (You can also use a small paintbrush if you want)
Then "sprinkle" your glitter onto the cookie! Make sure to put the glitter on while the paint is still wet or it won't stick. Be creative with your cookies! You can make fun Christmas shapes and designs with the puffy paint too.
After your done, put your cookies in a safe spot for a day to dry or "cool" before you let your doll enjoy them. :)
Abbey, Elizabeth, and Molly sure made a lot of cookies! They look so yummy!
I hope you have fun making some Christmas cookies for your doll! If you do, I would love to see! You can email me a picture at email@americangirlfan.com and maybe I'll even post it!
Have fun!! :)
Ps~Don't forget to enter your doll picture in the Doll Holiday Photo Gallery! Last day to send in your picture is tomorrow Friday December 23rd, for more details click HERE.

Hi Girls! Thanks so much for your comments, I'm happy you liked the craft! :)
Faby-I got the rolling pin from Michael's Craft Store. It was in the $1 section! I always keep my eyes open for mini things for my dolls, and it's always not much money at all. :)
Hope you have a great day!
