Happy Mardi Gras! With Cécile now around, she had to throw a Mardi Gras Party! It is a New Orleans tradition after all! :)
So, Cécile dressed up in a ball gown, fancy beads, and...
...her handmade festive mask!
She also made a yummy King Cake to share!
All she needs is for her friends to arrive and she's ready to party!!
We hope you have a great Mardi Gras! Is your doll(s) do anything fun to celebrate?

I don't do much with Mardi Gras (and I have French / European dolls!), but Cécile looks so cute! I love her mask and her king cake (is that real?)!

What is Mardi Gras?
Posted by: Versailles | February 21, 2012 at 05:40 PM
It's a Costume Ball in New Orleans they have each year. Girls, boys, women and men go to a ball with all kinds of costumes that they where. I've never been to one, but my friend has. She told me it was so much fun dancing!
I hope you don't mind me answering your question, Versailles.:)
I like Cecile's dress, Liz.

Hi Girls! Thank you so much for your comments, I love hearing from all of you!
Laura-My sister Hope made the King Cake out of clay, I'm glad you like it! :D
Alison and Versailles-Mardi Gras is a celebration that they have in New Orleans each year-where Cecile is from! Like Jael said they have balls and dancing, wear masks and costumes, and have fun parades. :)
Hope you all have a great day!
