It was an extremely hot day. The kind of day that feels like you've just stepped into the Amazon rainforest! Rebecca and Cecile knew just the thing to beat the heat...a trip to the boardwalk to visit a new place in town, Snowy Cones and Treats!
And, Elizabeth was good friends with the owner, so she was working there part-time during the Summer!
Rebecca and Cecile looked excitedly at all of the delicious treats for sale...but only one thing was on their minds. SnowCones!
"Hey Girls! It's so great to see you! What would you like on this crazy hot day?"
"Hi Lizzie!" Cecile smiled, "I want one SnowCone!"
"Me too, please!" Rebecca piped in.
"Sounds good to me! That will be $2.00." Elizabeth said, after pressing the order into the cash register.
Rebecca handed Elizabeth the money out of her backpack. She couldn't wait to cool off with a sweet treat!
The girls waited for a few seconds as Elizabeth made the SnowCones, dripping colorful syrup all over the balls of ice.
"Here you go," Elizabeth said handing the girls their SnowCones, "Enjoy!"
As Cecile looked down at her SnowCone it almost looked too pretty to eat!
"Thanks, and bye Elizabeth!" Rebecca and Cecile said with a wave. They then went across the boardwalk to find somewhere to dig into their cold treats.
The girls finally found a nice place in the shade. "Cheers!" they said with a laugh.
The ice was cold but refreshing as they bit into their SnowCones.
They were so good!
Rebecca and Cecile had fun eating their SnowCones. But, what they enjoyed most of all wasn't only the SnowCones, it was sharing the day with each other!

Some of the treats, including the SnowCones, were made by my amazing sister Hope. Your doll can enjoy her own SnowCone too! Check out our shop here:

How cute!! Love pictures. And I don't want to be mean but the Amazon rain forest isn't actually super hot because it rains all the time. Oh well, we all make mistakes. Adorable post!

Not bein' mean, Natalia, but I think she's comparing The Amazon Rain Forest to the day because it's hot and humid.

Such a sweet photo story, Liz!
They SnowCone Stand was so realistic, and as were the SnowCones! :D
I've been wondering this for a long time, did you get a new camera?
Your photography looks improved, like the background is all blurred, I love the touch it adds!
Great job on this!

Hi Girls! Thanks so much for your comments, I love hearing from you all!
Natalia-No problem, thanks! I've actually never been to the Amazon, but I knew it was a bit humid. I was trying to compare the day as being sticky and hot. :)
Lauren-Thank you! Yes, I actually did get a new camera as a graduation present! It's a Canon Rebel DSLR, meaning I can switch lenses on the camera and it has other different features. I'm still learning how to use it, but I love it! I'm glad you can see the difference in my photography, that means a lot. :)
Hope you all have a great day!
Your Friend,
Liz

I use the Canon EOS Rebel T3! :D
Hope you enjoy yours!

Carli: I think the money might have come with the concession stand. Or she made it by printing out the picture and cutting it- Cause she's really good at doing that sorta thing. LOL

Jaclynn: I was thinking it might have, If she printed it off the computer, than I might be able to do that. If we can get some more ink for the printer. Liz is good at that stuff. I'll have to see what's doll sized and black and white I could print out...
