You all probably know this already, but I LOVE to write letters. To get letters in the mail from some of you is so much fun! My dolls love getting mail too...they got something special a few days ago from the PenPalGirls doll company!
The PenPalGirls Doll Company was founded by a lady named Tina in 2011. They sell 18 inch PenPalGirl dolls, like American Girl dolls, and also doll clothing. Their doll clothing is designer fashions from all over the world! From France and Canada to Beligium and India! Here's a bit more on PenPal Girls from Tina:
"Hi Girls! I got the idea for PenPalGirls when I realized my two daughters were not fully aware of their cultural unique heritage and couldn't appreciate their uniqueness. My vision was to develop a company and product line for young girls everywhere (like you!) to learn about their own culture and others throughout the world, and connect wth girls in other countries. I wasn't happy with the quality of toys out there and wanted to create an affordable couture line. After finding investors excited about my idea I was able to turn my dream into reality and started my company in 2011!"
"I, along with my friends and family, design everything and we play with all our products. If you look closely at our doll clothes, you will find detailing worthy of French designers (watch out Coco Chanel!!). We also hope to promote letter writing and all the beauty that comes with the written word."
Thanks so much Tina! Tina sent me one of her doll outfits to review and Rebecca was so excited to open it! The packaging is awesome!
The outfit is from the PenPalGirls French Collection and is called the 'Glam Doll Outfit'. Perfect for wanna-be superstar Rebecca!!
The outfit comes with a sparkly criss-cross tunic, matching leggings, and sparkly shoes! It's adorable! I love how PenPalGirls made the outfits to fit all 18 inch dolls.
The tunic and leggings are made of a soft cotton material like a t-shirt. The tunic secures with velcro in the back and the leggings slip on easily.
The shoes are my favorite! They are easy to put on and would look good with other outfits in need of some glam.
Rebecca looks gorgeous in it!
Your doll can also take off the leggings, and turn the outfit into a casual dress!
I recommend this PenPalGirl doll outfit and I'm sure all of them are so cute!
You can check out all of their designs, play some fun games, and even find your own penpal at the PenPalGirls website:
Edit: Tina has something special for all of you AmericanGirlFans! If you purchase anything from PenPalGirls put "AGFan" in the instructions box at checkout and you will receive a bonus with your purchase!
