This week I got my Sept/Oct American Girl Magazine in the mail, and it's such amazing issue! I had fun flipping through it today...
I love how everything is Fall related, and the Doll Crafts this time are so adorable! They are always my favorite part of the magazine.
This month American Girl shows you how to make a Farmer's Market for your dolls! They show some really awesome ideas!!
First, they tell you how to make veggies out of tissue paper! I've never thought to do this before! (There is a note that you have to be careful though, since the tissue paper-dye could bleed onto your dolls skin.) I love the paper lettuce and tomatoes!
They also say you can make jams out of little containers and put gold duct tape to be the lid, and use polymer clay to make cheese wheels--I know my sister Hope will try that out!
And, don't forget fresh flowers! You can buy silk flowers at a craft store. Then you can use brown tissue paper to wrap them up for your doll to take home!
I'm excited to try out the crafts with tissue paper, I have tons of it laying around! If you make any of these AG crafts too, I would love to see! You can email me a picture, at email@americangirlfan.com
Did you get your Sept/Oct magazine? What's your favorite thing in this issue? :)
Ps~Tomorrow is From A Friend Friday! If you have a picture you want to share, email me soon at email@americangirlfan.com :)

Oh my gosh! I totally want to try some of those things!

I got that a week ago and although it isn't my favorite issue I thought the Haunted Hotel party would be cute to do if I had more dolls.

I got the magazine last week, I think on Friday. It was an awesome issue. I liked it all. I'm not sure which part is my favorite, but I do like the contest part where it was back to school outfits. I also liked the Dog Park part.

Hi Girls! Thanks so much for your comments, I love hearing from you! :)
Jackie-Yes, you can write a letter to me anytime! I love mail and having penpals! My website mailing address is:

It's also on my "Contact Me" page at the top of my site. I hope you are having a great schoolyear so far. My sister started school two weeks ago, but this year I don't have school since I am now graduated. But, I've still been learning a lot while working on stuff for AmericanGirlFan and writing during the day. Been reading lots of good books too! :)
Anna-Thanks for letting me know about Caroline! I love her and am so excited for her to come out next week!
Meg-You read my mind! A Shout-Out will be up this weekend, watch out for it. :)
Have a great day!

If you don't want to risk the tissue-paper veggies for a farmer's market, Build-A-Bear has a plush farmer's market set for $5 and a matching tote bag for $2. I bought the plush veggies for Kelsey and they are wonderful. I'm hoping to get the tote on our next BAB visit (my son loves that place lol), as I got a purse and backpack this time around.
