I went to Michael's Craft Store yesterday and while taking a short cut down the book aisle, I saw the brand new American Girl book Doll Star
It looked like such an amazing kit!! I had to buy some other stuff instead (doll craft supplies!), so I couldn't get it, but I took some pictures on my iPod to share. :)
The big thing that comes in the kit is a doll-sized movie clapperboard! There are tons of fun punchouts and stickers to make your doll a star no matter if she's a reporter, talk show host, tv chef, movie star, or music artist!

There are punchouts and glittery sheets in the kit to make your own doll guitar and electric guitar too!
See how the movie clapper is perfect for dolls? That would be such a cute prop for videos or photos. :)

I'm so glad you posted this! I looked at the pics on AG.com but, its not very specific. I REALLY want to do the chef show!!! That is so my dolls! Not the whole actress, musician thing- so I don't know if I would want to pay that much money just to do that one little thing. LOL! These pics are a great help though! Thanks again!

I got this about a week ago and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I would totally recommend it!! My favorite part is the doll-sized Dazzling Desserts book!!!!! I can actually read it!!!!!

OOH, that is soooooo cool. Once, I had a dream where I had a box overflowing with doll kit's, FREE. More clothes for Molly, more shoes, a couple more mini dolls, more clothes for ME, more hair stuff for Molly, Emely Bennet, even! AAH, I wish that dream was true.......

That book is AWESOME! My dolls are in a fictional band called Girlz Rock, so I think it would be perfect for them!

Does anyone know how to get a copy of the book? My daughter received this as a gift, but there was no book! AG customer service said we have to go back to the bookstore where it was purchased, but she already has played with it some before we figured out it didn't have everything.
