You all had some great guesses about the sneak peek picture...yes it's a masquerade mask! It's also the 3rd Annual Doll Costume Photo Contest!!
This year we have 3 awesome prizes you could win...just read on!
Here's how you can enter:
-First have a Parent's permission-you will have to give your home address if you win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in the contest.
-Take a picture of your American Girl doll in a Costume! (Look at the picture above for some examples of costumes I used for our dolls. Nellie is a Chef, Kenley is a Ballerina, and Cecile is a Butterfly. hehe) Your doll's costume doesn't have to come from American Girl-you can use anything! (paper, aluminum foil, streamers, ect.) Be creative with your costume! In your email tell me your name or nickname, and the name of your doll in your picture. You can use an Non-American Girl doll too! So, if you don't have an American Girl doll, you can still enter in the contest!
-Send me your picture by emailing me at email@americangirlfan.com. Make sure that your picture is appropriate, and not scary or creepy. I have the right to not accept a picture if it is inappropriate. Please send in only one picture. :)
The last day to send in your picture is Sunday October 21st, 2012. Once I get all the Doll Costume pictures, I will post all the pictures in a new post and you all will vote on a poll for your favorite costume! Voting will go on the week of October 22nd-October 28th. I will reveal the winners on October 29th.
Now onto the Amazing Prizes you could win!! The costume with the most votes will be the 1st Place winner and has the choice of one of these prizes...

Hi Amelia Rose!
You don't have to make a costume, you can use whatever kind of doll clothing you have or stuff around the house. (Like aluminum foil for a robot or green paper for a hula skirt! I even made Nellie's chef hat out of tissue paper.) It's all about creativity!

Hailey, Elizabeth, AGStudios-You can have more than one doll in your picture if you want to. But, keep in mind that if you have one doll in costume it does make it less confusing for the ones voting. :)
Jaclynn-I ask that girls send in only one picture, to give everyone a fair chance. :)
Oh, and to the ones talking about the Once Upon a Time TV Show...I LOVE it too!! It's probably my all-time favorite show! :D

Jaclynn-I've watched every episode, they are so amazing! Who's your favorite character? I like Emma a lot and how tough she is. Although, I think she may be softening up some. Snow and Charming too! I like them all really, except Rumpelstiltskin and Regina. They give me the chills!!!

Oooo! I don't know! I love Snow and Charming's story! And I like Emma too! And Henry is so cute and funny sometimes! I also like Belle! Her voice is so cool! And I like Rumpel too! UGH! I can't decide! LOL! We have the first season on dvd and are watching the second season on my mom's Ipad!
Do you like Aurora and Mulan? I don't. Aurora doesn't even look like Aurora! And Mulan kinda bugs me! LOL!
I know Regina frustrating! LOL! I can't believ you don't like Rumpel! He's so cool and his story is so sad! I always feel bad for him! But sometimes he makes me mad! LOL!
Yeah, Emma is definitely starting to soften up!

Jaclynn + Liz: Speaking of OnceUponATime, I've watched every episode and we have the 1st season. I can't decide whether Rumple is good or not. He is SO funny and can be sweet, but there are times when you hate him! I can't really decide which is the best though. My mom is scared easily, and if you haven't seen the latest, the scene with the snakes almost made her fall out of her seat!

AmericanGirlStudios: Yeah, its mostly about Snow White and her prince. The Evil Queen just to ruin their happiness- sends the whole "fantasy" world to our world and writes new stories for them and they don't even remember who they are! Snow ends up being a teacher single and alone and her prince ends up working at an animal shelter married to someone else! It's all really sad and intense! LOL!

Liz: That explains it!! I've been wondering why all day there were no new comments, and I knew that ALOT of people were. I didn't know why you weren't here! Glad you went on a trip! At the VERY end of September(the 28th to the 30th) my family went camping. I asked my mom today if we could go camping this month but she says since it is the end of the month, and we're SO busy, it would probably be just me, my brother(who turned 7 Sept. 4), and my dad. But...she says in November we can probably go during Thanksgiving Break, after we celebrate Thanksgiving. I love camping! This Summer we camped for 3WEEKS! We went to South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Montana, etc. It was SO fun! I just can't believe it was 4 MONTHS ago!!!
