Q: If you had $1000 to spend at any AG Place. Which AG Place would you spend it at and what would you spend it on?
A: Goodness, that's A LOT of money! I think I'd be overwhelmed at all the stuff I could buy! I probably would buy some big furniture pieces, like some historical beds or table & chairs sets. I'd really love to get Julie's or Molly's table set. I'd probably get the rest of Kit's collection, Addy's collection, or Rebecca's collection. Though, if I got any dolls I'd want to buy some to donate. I was just thinking the other day how fun it would be to give American Girl dolls to girls around my area who don't have any. I'm so blessed with my dolls and I'd really love to give the gift of AG to other girls.
Q: How did you find out about American Girl dolls? Was it something you stumbled upon or something that you were looking for?
A: I actually found out about American Girl at elementary school before I was homeschooled. I think it was around second or third grade and I picked up one of the Samantha books at the school library. I fell in love with the books and saw at the end of the book the card with the historical dolls on it! So, it was something I just stumbled upon. My Grandma also played a big role in the American Girl world by asking what doll I wanted and of course I chose Molly as my first doll! ;)

Q: Who is your favorite Girl of the Year doll?
A: I love all of the Girl of the Year dolls, but my favorite doll has always been Mia! It might be because she was the first Girl of the Year doll I bought myself on January 1st, 2008. I love Saige too, her collection is so awesome. Story-wise though, I think Jess' story has to be my favorite. I loved reading about the tropical rainforests of Belize, it's now my dream to go zip-lining in the rainforest!
Q: What is the most expensive AG item you own? (not including dolls.)
A: The most expensive AG item I own is probably the American Girl Snack Bar & Treats. It was $80 and actually Hope's (she got it for Christmas) but we both share it. In my opinion, it's one of the best AG sets ever, so much fun! It came with a lot of food too, like nachos, cotton candy, water bottles, soda, pretzels, hot dogs, popcorn, and a bunch of accessories. It was really worth the price. I've used the concession stand as a bakery and shave ice stand before too!

Q: What's your favorite color?
A: My favorite color is definitely light blues! I LOVE blue and wear it all the time. I also like pink, purple, and light green!
Q: What's your usual morning routine? Do you get up, do homeschool, and play with your dolls or Hope? And are dolls the first thing on your mind, or something else?
A: Good question! My usual morning routine is that I get up and get ready, eat breakfast and chat with my mom & Hope, then it's off to work I go! Now that I've graduated, my day consists of doing whatever needs to be done for the week on my website. Either I'm taking pictures in the sunshine, doing a craft, answering these Q & A's (hehe), sending out emails, doing hairstyles, projects, or jotting down and brainstorming fun doll play ideas. Throughout the day I fit in prayer with God and some Bible time too. I'm hoping to spend more time in God's Word in the morning since I want Him to be always first on my mind. I'm going to be taking a photography class in the mornings coming up soon too, which I'm so excited about!!!

Q: Do some people think you are too old for dolls? And are you sometimes embarrassed to buy AG stuff?
A: I'm sure that some people think I'm 'too old' for dolls, but the important thing is that I don't believe I am. But at one time I did. I was actually sad when I turned 12 years old, because I thought it would be my last year to like American Girl, since AG say its ages are from 8-12. I thought I would be too old for dolls and that I wouldn't be able to play with them anymore. After I realized that even adults collect American Girl dolls I felt so much better. I think you can never be too old for dolls, and never too old for a hobby you love. If I would have decided to stop playing with my dolls at 12 years old, I wouldn't have 7 of my dolls and my website! So many people have interesting hobbies, and collecting/buying dolls and accessories is mine. If people still think it's strange, I don't worry about them. Do what makes you happy!
Q: You mentioned you use business cards to help promote your site. Where do you order the cards from, and can you upload a picture of yours?
A: I ordered my business cards from PsPrint.com, but my dad and I designed the card on our Photoshop program. I recommend the company, the cards are so nice!

I really like Jess's face mold, too! I like her eyes. Do you pronounce Cecile's name Say Seel, like in the books? I pronounce it Se Cil Ee. I think it would be cool if one year, they made twin GOTY dolls. I think they should both be blond (like me!), with their hair parted on opposite sides, and one should have green eyes, and the other blue eyes. And freckles (I always think they make AG dolls cuter!)I would want them to be into dolls, because I love dolls, and I don't think the GOTY usually is interested in them. Just some thoughts.
