Last weekend my family went to a huge Goodwill Thrift Store, and I found a very big surprise! Once we were getting ready to leave the store I went over to the display case area, and there was a Girls of Many Lands Doll!!
Girls of Many Lands was a line of books produced by American Girl for older girls in 2002, but discontinued in 2005. There were 8 dolls, each was a girl 12 years old and lived in a different time period in a different country. I've found and read some of their books before.
I found the one named Cécile and bought her for $5! Here are some pictures...
Isn't she beautiful? She's 9 inches tall, and I was so surprised to see how pretty she was. Her time period is 1711 in France.
Her head is able to move and be tilted, I love how she looks like she's thinking. :)
The back of her dress is gorgeous!
The American Girl tag is in the inside of her dress too. :)
She is very posable and fun to take pictures of.
And, here are the two Cécile's! Girls of Many Lands Cécile is a little tiny compared to American Girl Cécile. hehe :)
I hope you enjoyed the pictures!! Do you have any of the Girls of Many Lands Dolls or found anything at thrift stores lately? I would love to know!
