My AG Pocket Full of Wishes...

While I was looking through one of my desk drawers, I found a fun thing I got at American Girl Place Chicago back when I went in 2008! It's called "A Pocket Full of Wishes"...

It was a free small folder that you could put your "wishes" or little papers with your favorite American Girl items in it...

See? The little papers were located right by the item at American Girl Place. It was a cute souvenir!

I actually now have two of the things that were on that wishlist-Addy and Kit's School Dress!! haha

Artist Autumn de Forest Upcoming Signing at American Girl Place!

One of my favorite parts of the new July/August American Girl Magazine is the article "Girls Who Work" that tells about several different girls who have really fun jobs! One of the girls in the article is Autumn de Forest, an amazing 9 year old artist!

Guess What? You could meet her! Autumn will be appearing this Monday, July 25th at American Girl Place Los Angeles at The Grove, between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to sign magazines, show some artwork, and give out her special artcard. This event will be hosted by American Girl.

I wish that I lived closer to LA, it sounds like a lot of fun!! I love all of Autumn's paintings like this one of her American Girl doll...

The Site of the New American Girl Place in Kansas City!

Lately, American Girl has been trying to put new American Girl Place stores in a lot of different states. The next destination to have an American Girl Place is going to be...Kansas City!

My friend Sadie was able to take pictures of the American Girl Place construction site at Oak Park Mall! It's where they are building the new American Girl Place in Kansas city! She posted the pictures on Her Blog, and she was happy to share them with us too! Thank you SO much Sadie, you are awesome! :)

Here's the front of the store already built! They still need to build the inside though, which is the best part of American Girl Place! :)

Inside of the Mall is a Coming Soon sign where the American Girl Place will be! It says the American Girl Place will be done in the Fall! :D
