Wow! Hallie! You got an American Girl doll for $9.00? You are sooooo lucky! A friend of mine went to a yard sale and walked up to Kit's bed that was $3 but someone snatched it away before she could buy it!

Yeah, I was at a yard sale last Saturday and they were selling Felicity's bed and bedding for $4. But as soon as I walked up an old lady bought it for her granddaughter. Lucky her!

Help - Question on Bitty Baby dolls!
I was lucky enough to have a friend by my two girls bitty babies for Christmas. I am looking for gift suggestions for some of my family that can't afford/won't shop on the internet. I've heard the Our Generation dolls's clothes at Target can fit AG dolls. Can anyone confirm that Our Generation Target clothes fit the Bitty Babies? They say 18" instead of 15". Thanks so much!

My Samantha doll wants a friend does anyone know of one for sell cheep? thanks. Koda
Posted by: Koda | December 31, 2008 at 10:53 PM
Koda,
You should go to big yard sales and flea markets. There are usually a lot of AG stuff if you look hard enough.
Posted by: Savanna | December 31, 2008 at 11:39 PM
Terra,
Our generation doll clothes don't fit Bitty Babies and they aren't good quality either. Toys R Us has doll clothes from multiple brands that will fit your doll. There are also madame Alexander clothes at Toys R Us that fit AG 18" dolls.

Thanks for the help!!! I went through my room yesterday and found stuff I don't play with. I am going to have a yard sale and with the money I make I am going to get Molly. Thanks again Koda

Our Generation Dolls would be a cheaper doll that would be a great friend for Samantha!:)

I went to a church sale and got tons of American Girl books for only a few dollars. They were like 25 cents each! I got like ten! So be sure to look at a thrift shop or something like that before buying. I learned my lesson on that!:)

I love your website. It is amazing and cool.I have Elizabeth to.She was my first doll.I just love her.My dad even made her a bed.

This is a cute idea from www.ourdolls.net for your dolls! You can make envelopes for them! Just cut small pieces of paper and shape it into an envelope! You could even make mini stamps out of white label stickers. Then you decorate them! Then your dolls can write to each other! Have fun!:)

we could've got Kirsten's entire collection at the flea market for $100. but someone else got it. My grandma was the one that was their, and she didn't understand how high the prices were when she saw those otherwise we would've got them. O well, what's in the past is in the past.

Hey! I got tired of editing, or posting in ag playthings and made my own website as well http://thedollfansiteforupdateinformation.webs.com/index.htm
I have basically the same information as AG Playthings, but I keep it at a child based level unlike them. There's is at an adult based level. It's new though I only created it a day ago barely even that. I thought you might be interested in visiting sometime.

Thanks for this great site! I was lucky enough to find a Samantha doll at a yard sale for $2. I was going to send her to the hospital, but after visiting your site I just might try it myself. My daughter is only 5, so I didn't want to spend a ton of $ if she's not responsible enough yet. Actually, I think I bought it more for me!!
