Chrissa Falls Flat~My Movie Review

After the wonderfully made American Girl movie, "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl", "An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong" was a Huge dissapointment for me.

I was so looking forward to watching it, because since the Kit movie was so enjoyable and fun, I thought this movie would be just as good. I guess I thought the bullying wouldn't be so mean. I went to public school for 6 years and never saw such mean bullying as in the movie. I don't believe Chrissa was such a good role model, because she tried to handle the bullying alone...and stood strong alone. If anyone here knows anyone being bullied in such a way I would never tell them to stay in school or not tell a parent. It was nice to see that American Girl tried to end the movie in a postive way.

It just didn't feel like a Movie night kind of movie, and I doubt I will watch it again.

American Girl just didn't live up to it's high standards.

Picture of Chrissa's Best Friend dolls!

I was looking at a few websites, including the Agplaythings message board  and someone posted a picture of Chrissa's Best friend dolls and Chrissa together. They said they found it on a coupon at the Best Buy store! The rumors are that the girl on the left is Gwen and the girl of the right is Sonali. I Love all of them and their outfits (especially Sonali!)!

I just wanted to write a little update because I was so excited! :)

She is seen in the picture with 2 books, Chrissa and Chrissa Stands Strong. :) I think she is So pretty! Rumor has it she is supposed to have a best friend doll, or even 2!

I can't wait to see what else is in her collection or her Best friends collection in 2009! :)
