Is your doll a sporty girl, that loves to wear ponytails? Well, here's an easy way to dress up a simple side ponytail!
I like to call it the side-twist! All you have to do is take two large sections of hair from the sides of your doll's head. Twist inward (Right section, twist to the left. Left section twist to the right.)
By now it should look something like this!
Use a fancy hairtie or ribbon to tie off the ponytail and give it some style! Now your doll can put on that helmet or hat, and go play!
I hope you have fun trying this hairstyle on your doll! If you do, I'd LOVE to see! If you have other hairstyles you'd like to share, feel free to send me a picture too at email@americangirlfan.com
~ One of my favorite things to do when I'm not working on my own
website, is to look at other girls' doll blogs and websites! I love
seeing what fun things other girls are doing with their doll(s)! So,
have you done anything fun on your doll site? Share it with us!
Shout out your doll site by leaving a link below of your site's

While doing CeCe's Hair Salon, I came up with another fun hairstyle on Saige, the triple-crossover braid! I love it! Here's a few simple steps...
Part your doll's hair down the middle, and separate one side of your doll's hair into three sections. Use clips (even though it looks silly, haha) to keep the sections in place. Start with the lowest section and braid. After tieing it off with a hairtie, braid the second section, and finally the last one. You should have three braids! Repeat on the other side of your doll's head.
Once you have your braids, it's time to cross them over...
Gather the top braids and tie off. Then cross over the second braids and gather a small piece of hair from the ponytail before tieing off with a hairtie. (You can undo the other hairties on your braids once they are secure)
Crossover the last braids and, ta-da! You're done! You can leave your doll's hair down like this, or gather into a ponytail like I did.
This style would look amazing on any doll with long hair!
I hope you have fun trying it out on your doll! If you do, feel free to send me a picture at email@americangirlfan.com. Saige and I would LOVE to see! :)
