Kit's Outdoor Snapshots!

Today Kit decided to take a walk outside in the sunshine! But to Kit, a walk is not complete without...

Her trusty camera! She was determined to get some snapshots. Now, what to take a picture of first?

Kit's eyes wandered around the yard until she noticed some nice purple flowers!

Next stop...the chicken coop!

Our chicken Bonnie looks like she's enjoying the day too! haha

After passing the chicken coop, Kit headed to the garden! Some tomatoes are almost ready!

Kit can't wait until these are ready to be picked...yum!

She walked around the yard some more until she had a little suprise visitor...

...Toasty! Kit laughed, shaking her head at the silly dog. But then she got a perfect idea!

 

"Say cheese, Toasty!"

SO cute!

 After all that picture-taking, Kit needed a rest! She can't wait until she gets her pictures developed! :)

Saige Goes Skateboarding!

It was such a nice day that Saige wanted to do something outside! But she wanted to do something she'd never done before...

...Skateboarding! She was all ready to go, helmet and all.

After an excited deep breath, she hopped on!

Saige smiled big as she let out a loud, "Woo-hoo!!!" Down she went on the sidewalk, the breeze blowing through her curly hair.

She kept going and going, until she was couldn't go anymore. She couldn't believe it, she'd made it so far!

"That was awesome!" Saige said. She was so ecstatic, she didn't notice another little skateboarder...

Meatloaf...?!

He let out a soft bark and Saige turned around slowly. At the sight, she giggled, Meatloaf wanted to skateboard too!

Saige gave him a scratch behind the ears, Meatloaf was so silly.

Meatloaf climbed into Saige's lap, giving her doggy kisses. Saige smiled, what a perfect end to a beautiful Spring day! :)

The other day I was at Michael's Craft Store and like I always do, I browsed the American Girl Crafts section! There were some new crafts for Saige that caught my eye and also a new line AG is doing called, Scrap & Stuff!

The Scrap & Stuff kits are $9.99 and there are three different ones, Me & My Friends, My Life, and School Stuff. They are like journals/scrapbooks that you can write in, draw in, and decorate!

What's even better is that they come in...doll-sized!! The mini scrap and stuff kit is also $9.99, but there was a 40% off sale for AG items, so I got a deal!

Felicity was so excited to open it up!

It comes with some adorable stickers too!

When she got it open, Felicity took some time to write...

She's writing her favorite books! Some pages have specific things you can help your doll write about, like About Me, My Pets, My Favorite Books, Places I'd Go... fun stuff like that. :)

Lots of great books on there!

Here's some other bright & colorful pages! Felicity and I used an AG catalog to cut out a picture of coconut!

I like the first page of the My Life book. :D

And hoot doesn't like this page?! haha

Felicity LOVES her books! I totally recommend this set, it's so cool! I think it'd be fun to have the girl-sized versions too! :)
