~ One of my favorite things to do when I'm not working on my own website, is to look at other girls' doll blogs and websites! I love seeing what fun things other girls are doing with their doll(s)! You can probably tell that I LOVE to take pictures!! With every photoshoot I do with my dolls, I actually take more pictures than I need. At times I have to decide out of the dozens I took, which ones to show you here on my site...and that's hard! Today I thought I'd share a few "out-takes" I had last week. First up is the one above of Kit chillin' for the Caption That Doll Picture #96. Ahh, that looks so relaxing!

 Julie looked absolutely fabulous in her hat on that same day I did the watermelon.

And finally another of Elizabeth posing with our roses, when she took a horse ride! :)

There's so many more I took too! Maybe I'll share them with you another time. Like I always say, you can NEVER take too many pictures! :)

Doll Craft: Paint a Birdhouse!

When I go to craft stores, I'm always on the lookout for some doll-sized finds. If you keep your eyes open, you can find really cute stuff that's perfect for dolls!

Like this little wooden birdhouse! I've seen these in both Michaels and JoAnn's and I had to get one! It was only $1 too, what a deal! :)

I had some leftover spray paint from my Little Miss DIY Review, so I thought it'd be fun to decorate my doll birdhouse!

Kit supervised me with the spray paint. hehe (Always get a parent to help you with spray paint!)

First I painted the roof a nice dark pink.

And then I painted the rest a light pink, it looked so pretty! I had to let the paint dry for a few hours before moving it again to decorate.

I thought my doll's birdhouse needed some flowers! I used some other paint Hope got on sale for 25 cents, and a dotting tool we had laying around. You can also use a toothpick, which works great too!

Flower Power, yay!!

Kit couldn't wait to put up our birdhouse! She knew some little birdy was going to LOVE living in it!

Kit carefully climbed the tree until she laid eyes on the perfect spot to hang the birdhouse.

Columbus Newspaper Fun American Girl Event!

Julie and I have an announcement! You may remember that the Columbus, Ohio American Girl store opens on June 22nd. We're so excited and the ones at The Columbus Dispatch Newspaper are too. Kelly from the newspaper told me about a fun event they are doing to celebrate the anticipation of the store!

They're looking for photos of dolls and their owners, young and old. Maybe you've held onto a doll you received years ago, or maybe you just started your love for AG. If you send your photo to them, you and your doll(s) could seen in a slideshow on the Dispatch website, with other American Girl Fans!
