I was just at www.americangirl.com and I was looking at the sales going on, when I saw a link called "What's Happening" at the Customer Favorites. I clicked on it and the featured thing was about a FREE Family American Girl Event at Michaels!

At your local Michaels craft store on Saturday September 20th you can go from 10:00 Am to 2:00 Pm and decorate a doll tee and make a doll purse!

A Neat Ebay Experience!

Well, I have recently been looking for a doll on ebay that I could own, work on, or have fun with. I tried winning a Josefina doll, but got outbid at like the last second or so. That one had its foot chewed though, so I am glad I didn't win.

A few days ago I saw this Beautiful Pleasant Company Just like you doll with brown eyes and brown hair. It was from 1992! I bid on her yesterday since it ended yesterday morning and..........I WON! I got her for 68.09 (I put in 75 dollars and something cents, before we left for church)! I am SO excited and happy! I haven't received her yet, but will add more details about my ebay bidding experience when I get her. Here are 2 pictures the seller had:

 

I don't have a name for her yet. I was thinking she looked like a Holly, but I don't know for sure. Do any of you have name suggestions? I would love to know some! Post a comment with lots of names you think would suit her!

A Surprise Find from Target!

Well, Sunday night my family went to Target, because my mom wanted to get some new curtains. While I was walking in to Target I would have Never guessed what I would find!

It all started when I asked my mom if we could go to the toys aisle in the store. (I had known that Target had some nice 18 in doll clothes). My mom said ok and we headed to the aisle. When we got there I saw a few cute outfits, but then...my sister pointed out... A New Generation brand 18 in sized Doll Table and Chairs!!! It was SO Neat! (I had been wanting a table and chairs for my dolls, and thought I could get one this year for Christmas.) It was only 31.99 and my sister and I really wanted it. :)

My parents said that we could get it some other time, and I thought that it was ok if I didn't get it, though it would be nice to have it. So, we went to the cashier and bought my mom's curtains. DON'T STOP here though, it get's better. :)

While we waiting in line to buy the curtains my sister and I starting talking about putting both of our 20 dollars together, to get 40. (I didn't want to have to do that though, since I am saving up for a doll outifit I want.) Then I said that we could take some out of my bank account since I have pretty much money in there. And we did! We went to the bank next to Target, and got 40 dollars! We went back in target and bought it! My sister and I were SO happy!!! Here are some pictures of it:

I am SO very happy that my sister and I have the Table and Chairs now! I also got them for a very good price, for only 31.99! American Girl sells there's for about 75 dollars or more! I Think the American Girl brand Table and Chairs are nice, but these will do just fine! :)
