American Girl Doll Purses Book

I recently bought the American Girl Doll Purses book from Barnes & Noble with my Christmas money. It is such a fun Book/kit! :)

It comes with a lot and is worth the money! You can make so many purses for your doll, and it lets your creativity flow!

This is what it contains(this was on the back of the kit):

*32 page book                                 *21 sparkling jewels              

* 12 Classic paper purses                  *4 pony beads

*7 ribbons                                       * 2 metal rim tags

* 1 sheet of pink velvet paper           *7 sheets of decorative paper

*1 sheet of sticky dots                     *1 sheet of glitter stickers

* 1 metallic punch out sheet            * 2 sheets of letter stickers

 

Here is what the inside looked like before I took out all the pieces.

               

Here is everything this kit contains. (It does contain 2 sheets of letter sticker, but I just found out 1 was stuck to the back and I didn't know there were 2 of them) It comes with a lot!

I haven't made very many purses yet, but I did make 1. :)

 

This is the purse I made. :) Everything that I made it with was included in the kit. :)

 

Mia really enjoys her new purse, she can't wait to use it! :)

A Day at The American Girl Spa...

It has been SO cold here (-4 this morning!),that Molly decided that she wanted to relax and go to a spa, like it was Summer. :)

The problem was she didn't know a good spa she could go to. Elizabeth spoke up and told her that she could host a spa right here at home! Molly thought it was a magnificent idea, that she asked Elizabeth if she could help her, and Elizabeth agreed...:)

"This is going to be so much fun!" Molly said to herself, while Elizabeth was getting supplies. Elizabeth loved spa days and especially loved hosting a spa for her friends, like Molly. :)

 

"Welcome to the American Girl Spa," Elizabeth said as she walked in. Molly giggled. "I have much planned for you today, are you ready to get started?"

"Yes, Please!" Molly said excitedly.

"First, the Cucumber slices," Elizabeth said enthusiastically, "May I have your glasses, thank you." she said as Molly gave Elizabeth her glasses.

 

"Now, I am mixing up a mixture of Baking soda and Water. It will be a mixture that I will wipe on your arms, legs, and face to make you feel refreshed."

 

Elizabeth, also gave Molly a Massage. Molly thought Elizabeth gave great massages, it felt good. :)

Next Elizabeth got out some hair items.

"Now, many Spas do not fix their Spa customers hair, but this is The American Girl Spa." Elizabeth, Molly's Spa attendent said.

   

Elizabeth, let down Molly's hair, washed it, and now was blow drying it. Elizabeth was like a Spa attendent/hair stylist. :)

 

She curled it, and Elizabeth fixed Molly's hair in beautiful braids, which she knew was Molly's favorite hair style. :)

 

Once Elizabeth was done she exclaimed:

"I hope you have enjoyed your visit to the American Girl Spa. We would love to have you come again soon!"

"Yes, I definately will, and I should bring our friends...Everyone would love this, Elizabeth!" Molly spoke rather quitely as she finished her sentence, thinking of all the fun her and her friends, Kit, Mia, Abbey, and Addy would have along with Elizabeth! Thoughts rushed through her mind, but she decided that she would have to do this again. :)

"I had a Wonderful, Wonderful time! Thank you so much!" Molly said happily. :)
