I'm always on the lookout for inexpensive things for my dolls, including American Girl items for less. My favorite places are yard sales, thrift stores, and dollar sections. Over the years, I've learned that you don't have to pay a whole lot of money to find cute stuff, that's because most doll-sized things are originally made for people! This weekend when I went shopping with my family, I found some really fun finds!
I scored two American Girl books, Writing Smarts
They come in a pack of six, and give a burst of color to my doll's hairstyles...
I love how summery Elizabeth looks!
The yellow flower looks so pretty with the princess veil hairstyle on Felicity. :)
These are perfect for Kit's short hair too!
Finding fun things for dolls is even better when you get a great deal!

I stopped by DollDiaries.com, and was so excited to hear that McKenna Shoots for the Stars movie trailer is now out! The American Girl movie is scheduled to premiere on NBC on July 14, 2012 right before the Summer Olympics (where you can watch real gymnastics!) It will be available to buy on DVD too on July 3rd.
Now, you've gotta watch the adorable movie trailer from the Universal Studios Entertainment Youtube...
I think it looks awesome, I can't wait to see it! What do you think? :)
