It was a gorgeous day outside so Addy thought it would be fun to take Coconut and Licorice in the backyard to play!
"Come on, let's go!" Addy called to her pets.
After sitting down in the grass, Addy was able to get the chew toy out of Coconut's mouth. Eagerly waiting, Coconut yipped and jumped, until Addy tossed the toy across the yard.
Coconut ran with all her might, her little legs flying! She was determined to get her prize.
Running back, Coconut nearly knocked Addy down with excitement. Good girl, Coconut!" Addy said, giving her a pat on the head. But, Addy had a feeling she was not going to get the toy back from Coconut anytime soon. She laughed, watching Coconut shake her head, nipping at the toy like it was alive.
Licorice decided to curl up with Addy while they watched the silly puppy.
Coconut grew bored after a few minutes and a little jealous of attention, she crawled up on Addy's lap. That didn't last long though, and quickly Coconut and Licorice both jumped off to investigate the happenings outside.
They are such sweet pets! Addy knew her and her friends were lucky to have them.
After a long day of playing, Addy was starting to get hungry. "Licorice! Coconut! Let's go inside and get some treats!" Addy saw their small ears perk up, and a grin spread across her face as they excitedly began following her back into the house.
