Mia's Mix and Match Fashions: White Vest!

All of my dolls love Fashion, but Mia is the main Fashionista in the family! No matter what the occasion she's ready to go with her mixing and matching talent!

Ever since I got the Weekend Fun Outfit, Mia has been having fun with the cute white vest that's included in the set. Here are some of her favorite looks with the vest...

First Look: Rock-n-Roll Casual White vest over the Los Angeles AG Place Tee (gift from a friend), Jeans from the weekend fun outfit, and AG toasty pink fuzzy boots from 2008 that we got on sale.

Second Look: Sweet and Dressy The white vest over the purple long-sleeve shirt from the AG Winter Pajamas set from 2010 paired with the greyish-purple skirt from the current MyAG Meet Outfit, and Mia borrowed Julie's lacy hat. Her shoes aren't pictured but Elizabeth's pink flats from her tea lesson gown look adorable! :)

Third Look: Layered and Sporty The white vest is layered over a non-AG grey tank (I think it is from an older doll brand called Tolly Tots), and under that is the blue shirt from the American Girl Doll Tees book. Paired with AG Place jeans and the sparkly shoes from PenPalGirls. :)

Remember to layer and have fun mixing up some of your own dolls clothes! It's so much fun and you can make new outfits without spending any extra money.

New American Girl Doll Star Book at Michaels!

I went to Michael's Craft Store yesterday and while taking a short cut down the book aisle, I saw the brand new American Girl book Doll Star!

It looked like such an amazing kit!! I had to buy some other stuff instead (doll craft supplies!), so I couldn't get it, but I took some pictures on my iPod to share. :)

The big thing that comes in the kit is a doll-sized movie clapperboard! There are tons of fun punchouts and stickers to make your doll a star no matter if she's a reporter, talk show host, tv chef, movie star, or music artist!

There are punchouts and glittery sheets in the kit to make your own doll guitar and electric guitar too!

See how the movie clapper is perfect for dolls? That would be such a cute prop for videos or photos. :)

It sells at Michaels for $21.99, but they have it on Amazon for $14.95. I can't wait to get this kit sometime, it had some awesome ideas for doll play!
