Last weekend my family and I took a weekend trip! This has been our best Fall yet so we we wanted to see all of the beautiful leaves. We traveled to Cumberland Falls in Kentucky (which is about 3 hours away) and we also went through Tennessee close to the Georgia border to go to Rock City!
Mini Kaya, our Mini adventurer, was a teeny-tiny bit jealous. But, she imagined of all the places we went to......
At Cumberland the landscape was GORGEOUS! The water looked very cold though.
And, here's Cumberland Falls! Under a full moon, it's been said that you can see a Moonbow. It's like a rainbow but with the moon! How cool is that!
Now, here we are at Rock City! It was amazing!
The most famous landmark here is Lookout Mountain, that overlooks seven states: Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. We were in seven states at once, woo-hoo! :)
And, you can't call it Rock City without there being rocks! There were a lot of them, along with a cool fairytale place and other neat trails. :)
We had such a fun time! Have you been on any trips lately? Where is your favorite place to travel?
Ps~I was unable to bring Mini Kaya with me, but I photoshopped the pictures for her to live out her dreams! Hope you liked them! I have a feeling that Mini Kaya is going on our next trip...I'll have to watch my suitcase. haha ;)
