I want to give a BIG thank you for all the questions sent in for the Q & A so far! I'm blown away by how awesome they all are! Today I'm going to answer some that were asked the most and a few others. I'm planning to get through all of them throughout the weeks!
So, welcome to the first ever Q & A With Us! *applause* ;)

Q: Which doll do you want next?
A: Hmm...that is hard!! At the moment, I'm really content with the 9 dolls I have, since I got Rebecca a few months ago. I think it would be fun to add Ivy, Ruthie,or Marie-Grace to our doll family someday since Hope and I have their best friends. I absolutely LOVE the historicals, so I'm always waiting for American Girl to come out with new ones. I'd love to get a My American Girl sometime too, but it's so hard to choose...maybe I'll wait to see if AG brings out any other dolls with red hair. Red hair is my favorite!
Q: When you did your dolls profiles did you gather info from the books or did you make it up?
A: A lot of it I did make up. I like to be creative with my doll's personalities, so they aren't exactly like their book characters. I did take some from the books, like Rebecca wanting to be an actress and Molly hating turnips. Though, my Mia doll likes fashion more than ice skating and Elizabeth isn't a trickster--she's usually the poor victim of pranks!

{Poor Lizzy...}
Q: Where do you find the time to post all of these great posts of yours? Where do you come up with all of these great ideas for dolls?
A: I'm smiling really big right now, I'm always so happy to hear that you all like my posts! For me, I find the time, because I love what I do! I've learned from my mom and dad that I have to choose what I want my top priorities to be. Doing my website is high on the list. If you have something you love to do, then you will try your best to fill your day with whatever that is. For my ideas, the best ones actually come when I'm not sitting at home. When I'm out shopping with my family, I'll see something 'girl-sized' and think how cute it would be doll-sized! It's sounds funny, but I got my idea for the doll cinnamon rolls while taking a shower! Haha. I have to give God the credit too, He places things in my life, constantly bringing me inspiration.
Q: If someone asked what your hobbies were, would you include posting on your website?
A: I'm actually a quiet/shy girl, so I don't usually talk about my website to new friends. If I'm asked personally about my hobbies though, I might mention it along with my many other hobbies. I love to talk about it if people ask. My local librarians know about my site and ask me a lot, since I'm always checking out at least one AG book every time I go. ;)

{I also love to share my love of American Girl with my community. I displayed some of our dolls at my local library three years ago and plan to do it again in 2013!)
Q: What is your favorite American Girl Doll?
A: Don't tell my dolls, but my favorite changes everyday! Right now I love Rebecca since she's my newest, but all my dolls are special to me. :)
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I used to have a lot of pets, but last year almost all of them died from old age. Right now we have one indoor cat named Macy and 3 Chickens that live outside named Lucy (Buff Orphington kind), Hattie (Silver Laced Wyondotte kind), and Bonnie (Dominique kind). We used to have 5 chickens, so we're hoping to get some new ones this Spring. (Click Here, to see how cute they were as chicks!)

{This is what our chicken coop looks like, my dad added on to it last month. We have some happy chickens!}
Q: What inspired you to start American Girl Fan?
A: When I was 9 years old I got into American Girl and my Grandma gave me my first doll Molly for Christmas. After finding out about the official AmericanGirl.com website, I got on it everyday! I LOVED it and was on it all the time playing games, answering those "Help!" questions, entering contests, sending in pictures for their doll photo-gallery (I got on it too!!), and more. But, I always thought it would be awesome to be able to talk with other girls who were American Girl fans. At the time, there were no fan websites at all about AG and no place to find doll play ideas, crafts, or doll hairstyles.
A few years later when I was 12, my dad was talking about websites. He and my mom had blogs and my dad learned a lot about running an online site. Somehow, I got a brilliant idea to create a site all about American Girl to be a fun safe place where all fans of AG could come together. I didn't put my idea into action until 2 years later, but it was the perfect timing. Now, AmericanGirlFan will turn 5 next year!
Q: Are you still being home schooled, or if you graduated, what are you doing now?
A: I graduated High School last Summer from being home-schooled. I must admit it feels weird being out of school, but it was such a happy time celebrating with family. Right now, my website is my full-time job during the day and it's the best! I feel like this is my calling and what God wants me to do in my life to glorify him. I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to share with all of you!

{My friend Quinlyn made me that graduate hat as a gift. Isn't it CUTE?!}
Q: Do you play with your dolls or just use them for posts? Are you interested in other dolls besides American Girl?
A: I don't play with my dolls like I used to when I was younger, but even when not doing posts, I still like to dress them up for fun and do their hair. When I set up scenes, a lot of my ideas come from when I was 9 and only had Molly. I used to pretend she was sick, have a tea party with her, make her a garden, read books, and other fun stuff. I have more doll-sized accessories and furniture than I had back then, so that makes it even more fun for me now that I'm older! Also, yep I'm a lover of all dolls!! I really like Blythe (I have three Littlest Pet Shop ones), Madame Alexander, and vintage dolls. I have a porcelain Anne of Green Gables doll that's really cute.
Q: Do you have any siblings besides Hope? How old is Hope?
A: No, Hope is my only sibling, just me and her. :) I'm very blessed to have such a close relationship with my sister, she's my best friend! She's turning 16 on March 9th, just three days before my birthday on March 12th.

{Hope's on the right, me on the left...yep, I'm a lot shorter than her. Haha!)
Hope you enjoyed the first set of answers! Feel free to send in more questions on the Q & A post or here too. I'll be doing another one really soon!!
