Rebecca's Flower Garden!

With the sun shining and the breeze blowing, it was a beautiful day to be outside. Rebecca got all ready to work in her flower garden...

With watering can in hand, she started to walk.

Through the grass and up the hill she went, until she came to the tiger lilies!

The burst of orange was so pretty! Rebecca gave the flowers a drink of fresh water, then continued her walk.

Next up was the day lillies!

Rebecca smiled in approval, only another bunch of flowers to go...

...the marigolds!

Rebecca poured the last drop of water into the pot.

Done at last!

She also posed for some pretty portraits!

Kit: Uh, I'll give you $50 for the Nellie doll.
Saige: Hmmm now that I think about it, she holds so many memories...
(Takes Nellie off table)
Kit: well, I'll give you $20 for the bear.
Saige: I remember all of the fun times we had together!
(Saige takes everything off the table)
Kit: *sarcastically* I'm sure this table holds many memories, to!
Saige: oh, I remember when we bought this table...
Kit: *facepalm* ~Maddie

Lissie's Lemonade N' More!

With her purse and allowance in hand, Julie couldn't wait to go shopping! The weather was perfect and a slight breeze brushed through her hair. One step after another she took, until she heard a familiar voice.

"Hey Julie!"

Julie turned her head to find Lissie standing behind a snack cart. She read the sign "Lissie's Lemonade N' More" before taking a closer look at her friend.

"Lissie...is that you? What is all this?"

"My brand-new business!" Felicity said happily. "I need money for our class trip this year, so I thought why not make a lemonade stand? Pretty cool, huh?"

Julie smiled, "Yeah it is!"

"So you want to, uh...buy anything?" Felicity asked.

Julie shifted her purse strap. "Well, what do you have?"

"So glad you asked!" Felicity exclaimed. "I've got Lemonade of course, water bottles, root beer, fruit punch, Munch bars, cookies, cinnamon rolls, Kitty Kat bars, lollipops, ice cream bars, cupcakes, an apple..."

Julie held up a hand. "Lissie, I think I'll take a bottle of water please."

"Just a bottled water? Don't you want a cookie, cinnamon roll, candy bar, cupcake, or..."

"Nah, I'll just have this bottled water. How much is that?" Julie asked, fiddling through her purse.

"But Julie. You'll need something to go with that water of yours! Because when you drink it, you'll get hungry and you don't want to be hungry!" Felicity said. "And it's for a good cause..."

Julie sighed and then laughed lightly. "Well, ok."

"Perfect!" Felicity beamed. "For a cookie, cinnamon roll, candy bar, and water that will be $4.00, but since you're my friend I'll give it to you for $2.00!"

"Ok, here you go!" Julie said, handing over her bills.

"And here you go!" Felicity said, putting the treats into Julie's hands. "Thanks for your business!"

Walking away Julie laughed to herself. She'd definitely be needing a friend to help her eat all these treats! Wonder where Kit is...
