When 4th of July comes to my mind I think of many things, but one of them is grill-outs, picnics, and barbeques! And every get together with friends and family calls for some special attention to decorations! Today I'm going to show you how to make a super easy (and cute!) decoration...
Paper & Pipecleaner "Rings" or chains! You can hang these up anywhere for a festive look. Let's get started!
To make the paper chains, you'll need some supplies:
- Colored Paper (you can use red, white, and blue construction paper too!)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Ruler
- Pencil
- And a parent/guardian to help you!
Once you have all your supplies, get out your paper and mark 1 inch wide. Then cut the paper into strips.
Keep cutting the paper until you have a lot of strips!
Cut the length of the strips to 5 inches.
Now it's time to make the chain! Curl your paper strip into a circle and tape, then loop another strip through the hold and tape again.
Continue making the chain until it's as long as you want!
And you're done! Now you can have your doll hang it up for all to see! (For the pipecleaner chains, you do the same as the paper. The only thing different is that you twist them instead of using tape.)
Saige is ready for all her friends to come over for a party!
I hope you have fun making some for your doll! If you do I'd LOVE to see! Feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]
Happy Crafting! :)
