When I go to craft stores I always love to look at all of the beautiful fabrics! There are so many different patterns, colors, and styles. I had some extra fabric laying around, so I thought I would put it to good use for my dolls!
I got out my pinking shears to make some cute hair accessories. The pinking shears keep the fabric from fraying and I just love the zig-zag design. They are a bit expensive but well worth it. Here are 3 ways I used my leftover fabric....
Big Bow. I cut out one long strip and tied it into a knot on the top of my doll's head. Then I spread out the sides, to give the big bow look! :)
So cute for a fancy party :)
Knotted Headband. I cut out an very long strip of fabric and knotted it about five times to make a large knot. The extra fabric I tucked underneath the headband.
This is a great look for those days at the beach! :)
Tiny Bow. I cut out small strips of fabric and tied them into small bows on pigtails.
Kit LOVES this casual style!
I hope you have fun trying these styles with some fabric you have laying around your house. Be sure to be on the lookout for sales on fabric at your local craft stores too! Also, I'd love to see if you try this on your doll. Feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]
Happy Styling! :)
