What a great weekend we had! We're so excited to start the week with a brand-new Q & A video! Thanks again for all your questions, we love them! (You can see our answers below too)
{You can also watch on the AmericanGirlFan Youtube channel! Like and subscribe!}
Q: How long have you been a Christian? ~Danielle
A: That's a very good question! Well, our parents had always taken us to church when we were younger. When I (Liz) was 8 years old I truly believed in God and that he sent His son to die on the cross for our sins. I was baptized and that's when I became a Christian. But it wasn't until I was 14 years old when I had a real relationship with God. He changed me during that year and opened my eyes to a lot of things in my life as I started to read the Bible. That also was the year that I started AmericanGirlFan and He blessed me so much! From then on, He's continued to do things in my life I would have never dreamed of. Such as getting to know all of you lovely girls!
Hope was 12, almost 13 years old when she became a Christian. Growing up, she had always thought she was a Christian and if someone asked if she was, she'd answer that she knew Jesus and loved Him. But, she didn't fully trust Him. On Easter Sunday that year her eyes were opened to the fact that Jesus not only died on the cross for us, He died for HER. It all clicked! Once she gave her life to God, she got baptized and was a true Christian. :)
Q: Are you girls right-handed or left-handed? ~Carli
A: I'm right-handed and Hope is left-handed! haha Hope understands all of you who are also left-handed. Scissors are so hard!
Q: Have either of you ever had braces? ~themormongirl
A: I had braces for two years, but Hope has never had braces. My braces experience was pretty good, I had very nice orthodontists and never broke any wires, which was awesome! I'm really happy to have them off now though! (I actually did a post when I got them off! You can see it, HERE. Wow I look so different!!)
Q: What historical American Girl doll's movie would you most want to appear in? Any historical doll's movie, even ones not done yet. ~Andrea
A: Ooh, fun question! Hope would LOVE to be in the Julie movie, all of the 70s fashion and scenes would be so cool! I'd love to be in the Felicity movie, because I've always loved the colonial time period. Getting to dress up at the Governor's Palace scene would be amazing!! The Kit movie would have be a lot of fun too!
Q: Who is your favorite Disney Princess? ~Jaclynn
A: I love Belle! I also had a HUGE Cinderella obsession when I was younger. I would dress up as Cinderella (randomly, haha) and I had the movie with live people in it, that I watched over and over again! I still love her! :) Hope really likes Ariel and Rapunzel! We LOVE the Tangled movie!!
Well, that's a wrap for this Q &A! Thanks so much again for your questions! We're trying to answer as many as we can each time, so if yours wasn't answered yet, stay tuned! Feel free to comment below with more questions you'd like us to answer (either for me, Hope, or both of us!).
"See" you next week! ;)
