Does your doll need something fun and festive to wear for Thanksgiving? Well, I've got the perfect thing to dress up her style...a turkey hairclip!
These are so much fun and best of all, EASY! Let's get started!
First, you'll need some supplies:
- Felt (in any festive colors. I chose tan, yellow, and orange)
- Scissors
- Small Googly Eyes
- Plain Barettes (I found these at Wal*mart for cheap)
- Hot Glue Gun (or regular glue, hot glue just works best for me)
- And, a parent/guardian to help you!
When you have everything you need, cut out one two tan circles, three ovals of one color (yellow for me), and two ovals of another (orange for me), and an orange small triangle.
Begin gluing your "feathers" on one of your tan circles.
Yours should look something like this! Glue your other tan circle on top of the first circle.
Then begin gluing on your googly eyes.
Finally add the beak. :)
Then glue your adorable turkey onto your hairclip! Make sure it's all dry before putting it in your dolls hair. :)
Ta-daa! The pefect little hair accessory for Thanksgiving!!
Kit loves her hairclip!! I hope you have fun making one for your doll too! If you do I'd LOVE to see, feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]
Happy Crafting! :)
