I have a confession to make. I'm obsessed with Cheez-It crackers! Always have been and always will...they are so good!! I thought I'd share this little obsession with my dolls and make some for them to enjoy.
These are so easy to make too!! Let's get started!
You only need three simple ingredients...er, supplies!
- Orange felt (You can go lighter than this too, but I used what I had)
- Scissors
- Thread & sewing needle
Also a ruler could be helpful and of course, a parent/guardian/friend to join in! :)
Once you have what you need, cut out a small square from your felt. I usually eyeball it, but it's around an inch tall and wide.
When that's done, fold your small square over.
Use your scissors to snip a teeny tiny triangle in the middle of the folded felt.
That will make a hole just like a real Cheez-It cracker!
Now use your needle and thread to sew simple stitches around the corners of the felt. Don't worry, they don't have to be perfect! Go all the way around until you reach the end and...
...you're done! Ta-daa!
Make a few so that your doll can munch on them as an afternoon snack! Or make a ton so she can share with friends at a slumber party.
Cecile loves these Cheez-Its! So yummy!!
I hope you have fun making these for your doll. If you do, I'd LOVE to see! Feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]
What's your favorite snack? :)
