My dolls are ready for Easter, are yours? If not, here are two hairstyles you can do on your dolls for Easter or any other special occasion! :)
This first style is an Easy Twisted Up-Do! It really is easy too!
First seperate your dolls hair into three, even large sections.
With the middle section, make a bun. (If you need help on how to make a bun, watch my video, HERE.) Secure with lots of bobbypins!
Now take the right section and give it a twist!
Bring the twisted hair over the bun and wrap it around. Secure with bobbypins.
Do the same to the left section and wrap it around the bun.
Finish with more bobbypins...and you're done!
I love how soft and beautiful this looks, it could be a bit historical too! :)
Saige loves it!
Next is, the Maiden Braid Bun. This is one of my absolute favorites and perfect for Spring.
First seperate your doll's hair into small sections at the front of her head. Begin braiding loosely, and start low. Make sure to not braid the top of the section of hair.
Braid the opposite side and secure with a loose hairtie or bobbypin so it doesn't come undone.
Then, take one of the braids and lift it on top of your doll's hair, across her head.
Do the same with the other side. Bring the braids together and pull down at the nape of her neck.
Use a tiny hairtie to hold the braids in place.
If there are any pieces sticking out in the front you can use bobbypins. The maiden braids are so pretty with your doll's hair down or pulled up into a bun.
I prefer the maiden braids with the bun, Elizabeth looks so pretty! :)
