Happy Friday, girls! I hope you all had an awesome week. It's been so nice here and I am really loving these warm and sunny days! I was sent some fun doll projects and videos this week and I can wait to share them with you! Let's take a look...
Diana has some great tips & tricks for doll photographers! (You can watch above or on her YouTube Channel)
From Kylie--Here's how to make a sleeping bag and pillow for any doll (I'm using an American Girl Mini doll)
STEP 1: Cut out what length and width you want your sleeping bag to be (CUT OUT BOTH FABRICS)
STEP 2: Glue the fabrics together, and sew them bottom to almost the top but leaving a flap
STEP 3: Cut out a small rectangle, about 1/4 of your sleeping bag, turn inside out and sew leaving a small hole, turn inside out and then stuff with stuffing (if you dont have stuffing then tissues or fabric scraps)
STEP 4: Sew up the hole in the pillow.
Then your done! :)
From Rosie Smithwick--Just a cute inspirational video with my doll Caroline! :) (You can watch above or on her YouTube Channel)
From Kaitlyn--Hi! Here's part 3 of: 4 things to make out of an old mechanical pencil!
Craft #3: A Doll Lollipop!
You will need:
• some lollipop looking material
• needle and thread
• hot glue gun
• the long white piece of your mechanical pencil
First cut out two circular pieces as big as you want your lollipop.
Next place them together and put hot glue around the edge, leaving an opening like this.
Flip it inside out and it should look something like this.
Then put some kind of stuffing inside.
Then glue it shut some more, leaving a small hole.
Insert your stick and glue the rest of it shut.
Get your needle and thread and sew a swirly thing that looks like the design of a lollipop.
You can also outline your swirl with any color of pen or marker or whatever!
McKenna wants a bite!!!
Yum, yum! Says McKenna!! Look for craft #4 next week! :)

Thank you girls for sharing with us this week! I just love to see what you and your doll(s) are up to! Would you like to join in on "From a Friend Friday" for next week?
Here's how you can:
-Send a picture of your doll(s), crafts, hairstyles, videos, photostories, fun finds,[email protected] (It must be a picture you or a friend/family member has taken. Limit to 4 pictures per person. If you decide to send in a photostory please limit to 10 pictures.)
-Put "From a Friend Friday" as the subject (Since I get alot of email, this would make sure yours gets here!)
-Be sure to include your name (or nickname) and the names of the doll(s) in your picture. You can also include a description for your picture if you want to.
-Send your picture in as soon as possible. If I don't get it in time, I'll have to post it the following week.
Have an awesome weekend! :)
