I have a new favorite way to do braids and I call it, The Flip Braid! It's super easy and looks gorgeous for Summer! Today I'm going to show you three different ways you can do it...
First we have the Basic Flip Braid on Rebecca. (You can do this style on curly or straight hair)
To do this, grab a section of hair from the opposite side of your doll's part and flip it over!
Seperate into three sections and begin braiding normally. If you braid loose, it looks extra pretty!
Keep on braiding until you reach your doll's ear. Then secure with a bobbypin and add a hair accessory!
I just love the tousled look! :)
Now that you know how to do a flip braid, you can do mini ones on short hair like Kit's! Take hair from the front of your doll's hair and braid normally, then flip over to the other side. Do it again with another braid and bobbypin them together.
And finally, here's the Flip Crown Braided Bun!
All you do is take a section from the front of your dolls hair and flip over, seperate into three sections and start braiding. Then, as your braiding add hair from the right side only, like in a Crown Braid. Keep going until you reach the middle of your dolls head. Secure with a hair tie and make a bun with the rest of the hair. Then add a beautiful hair accessory in the bun! :)
It looks so good with Elizabeth's blonde hair!
I hope you have fun trying out this style on your doll!! If you do it, feel free to send me a picture at [email protected]
And are there any hairstyle how-to's that you'd like to see here in the future? I'm always open to ideas from all of you!
Happy Styling! :)
